Hours: Carter BloodCare's Keller Donor Center is a total five-star facility. The staff is very friendly, courteous, professional, and very good at their job, making donation a painless and easy experience. The process involves answering questions, a preliminary test, and then a comfortable lounge chair recliner. The facility has a large screen TV and provides snacks like granola and Oreos, along with Gatorade and water to keep donors hydrated. Donors can give blood or platelets, with potential compensation for platelet donations. Each month features a different handout, like specialized t-shirts. While the wait can be hit or miss, the staff provides excellent company and spoils donors with goodies.
