“Great store but Goodwill should be ashamed. The two employees were both amazing but the store was sweltering! They shouldn’t be forced to work in such a hot store. The air conditioning system was broken and they only had two fans to try and keep it cool.”

“I came by yesterday to finally check this place out. I used to drive by during my commute and wanted to see about it. Sweet ladies running the shop; a great assortment of clothes, some books, and some DVDs/media. No toys. I bought three nice shirts for my son and would definitely come back to browse the rest. The prices are incredibly fair -- it's truly a resale/thrift store.”

There's always a wide variety of things to choose from and is an amazing price bargain for the product. They recently opened another location in Hurst, which is 3x as big and more furniture options. “Only took 6 items from 2 ikea bags but I found some amazing boots and a sterling silver necklace for $25. Pretty decent trade I'd say. I do wish they would have taken more items though. I resale across Texas and have great brands. The store is very clean and has a great layout. The staff was very friendly.”

“Visited here today and got some great bargains. Three vases, four Christmas glasses and a small serving dish for total $22. The cashier, Wendy, was very friendly, and I love that the price stickers come off really easily with a bit of soap and water! I like the glassware and knick knacks but they also have clothing and picture frames etc.”

“I definitely recommend North Texas Charities, a wonderful thrift shop in downtown Roanoke. They have a wide variety of items, including kitchenware, DVDs, housewares, jewelry, and furniture.
The staff is consistently friendly and helpful.
For donations, they offer a drop-off area and can even arrange for the pickup of large items upon approval. I highly recommend stopping by to see their latest arrivals.”

“Always have great experience dropping of my donations, the staff are so helpful and unload my car. So many time I try to help but they take things from me as I am walking in, they are trained well. As a non-profit it is against policy to cash tip employees at donation centers, but they can accept gift-cards so if a local fast food place is near by, get them one. Happy minimization day to me!!”
“Honestly I don’t get what people are fussing about, I collect physical media and this one has consistently had great CD and DVD selections.
Additionally I’ve found some great household appliances here!”
