“Went in to initially to just purchase a Utility trailer. We figured the process would take a moment to complete, which it did. Sarah was very helpful and assured us we would get all the paperwork needed to confirm it was under my name and so forth. We had a minor inconvenience with communication between the tax office and the store, but reassurance was brought back knowing we have everything on record. We ended up purchasing a riding lawnmower since we had to go back. Jacob was extremely helpful and respectful. He genuinely helped my husband with the loading of our trailer and lawnmower. Andrew helped get the lawnmower started and loaded as well. This store has a respectable team who genuinely helps without any judgement. I will go back for future purchases.”
Two familiar names now share one storefront. Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store opened their first co-branded location in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 16, and the concept is spreading to nearly two dozen stores in what the company calls phase one.
Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
