“I agree with Rich. The road is a little rough. You will scrape the sports car chassis. A regular car or pickup= perfect. The owners and staff go the extra mile to give you basic safety for an enjoyable shoot. 20 yard pistol range. 25, 50 and 100 yard rifle. If you are a shotgun person? The place really shines. It's setup for clay shooting. With a multitude of shooting stations. Update: The range is actively expanding to offer more shooting range services. Including air gun and archery. “My parents and extended family have fond memories of Gibson's. This is my second trip here and glad this location is still open and doing well. It's before my time, obviously, but when you walk inside, it's like a time capsule and I feel like how my mom must have felt as a kid being in there. You just have to experience it for yourself. Also has small but pretty clean restrooms, straight in the Short trip from Fredricksburg, and if you're from south of Kerrville, it's a fun stop on your way in or out. It's funny hearing people say when we mention it too. They'll say "There's a Gibson's that's still open?!" I love being able to say yes, there's one in Kerrville, and it's definitely worth the trip.”
