Called the Hertz number to make a reservation this morning. I wanted a vehicle at 3 but they said it wouldn’t be available til 5. I said ok and went thru the process. Come 5 I walk in as the hertz lady, named Tasha, is walking out. Gave it a few minutes then took a look and she’s just out there chatting it up with some dude. Ok whatever, gave it 10 more minutes it’s now 5:15, went up and asked for assistance. I informed her of my reservation for 5, she looks at a sheet of paper and says “when did you book this?” I said this morning. She says, “oooh yeah I don’t have any vehicles available.” I said I called and reserved a large sedan for 5pm. “Did you call reservations?” Yes I did. “I hate when they do that. They don’t realize that I’m one person and have to clean all these cars and they just let people reserve them. Hold on, there is a flight coming in and I have to take care of them then I’ll help you.” I move off to the side then she comes again, “sir go sit over there.” No I don’t want to sit im fine standing. “Sir move back over there because I have customers.” Ok whatever I step back. Come my turn she says “yeah sir all I have is a Nissan Sentra” which is smaller than what I reserved. I ask will it be the same rate as my reservation she says yes. I ask what other options do I have. She says Sentra or minivan. I ask will the minivan be the same rate, “no it’s $40 per day more.” Ok I can’t do that and the Sentra is too little so I can’t do that. I ask could I possibly take the Sentra and come back another time to switch for what I reserved? “Mmmm you could but it’s not a guarantee. And it depends on who’s here but they might charge you a fee for upgrade” first of all that already tells me it is subjective and at this lady’s discretion on if she wants to charge a fee or not. Isay the website has the large sedan for cheaper than a medium one. “I hate that, well it’s not a guarantee that there’ll be one available and we might charge a fee” what does the fee look like? “I’m not sure it depends on who’s here, they might charge you because you want to upgrade for preference” no it’s not preference it’s what I reserved in the beginning. It’s not my fault you guys haven’t cleaned cars that have been reserved. I even asked for a dirty car but no they can’t give dirty cars ok whatever. This goes on for an hour and she keeps repeating that because the flights coming in are DOD contracts they HAVE to save the vehicles even if they aren’t here. Another gentleman comes up in the exact same boat as me and says these vehicles shouldn’t be saved for special people and should be first come first serve. Tasha says “but you guys booked these last minute so you don’t matter as much” by the way myself and this gentleman are also military just not flying in. After all this inconvenience this lady had nothing to say but “just call this number and get your money back” ok Tasha, thanks for absolutely nothing. Complete waste of my time. Made a reservation weeks ago. When I arrived, no one was at the counter to rent me the car. The door to the office behind the counter was locked. I called the office but got a voice-mail. The agents from the competitors were staffed. They told me that they had not seen the Hertz staff that morning. I called the main 800 number. That was even more unhelpful. I was told that the counter should be open, but since no one was there, they offered to book me into another Hertz location. I guess I could have paid to take a ride share there. Not sure how they thought I was going to get there since I didn't have a car. I asked to speak with a manager, but after 30 minutes of waiting on hold, I gave up and asked the reservation be canceled. I rented a car from one of the other agencies that was staffed. And the rate was a bit lower.

I reserved a vehicle today for 2:30 p.m., just to get here and be told there is no vehicles available. They need to call customers ahead of time and let them know that in advance. It was a waste of my time and money. I even tried calling 5 times before arriving and not once did they answer the phone. When I arrived there was no customers, so IDK what they could of possibly been doing. If I could rate this a 0 I would, for unprofessionalism.

Absolutely horrible. I made an online reservation about 4 hours prior to pickup. I arrived at the airport at 1:00 pm and there was a sign that said no cars available. There was no representative at the counter. I called the local number at the counter and they said to call the 800 number for a refund since no cars were available. Why did it let me make the reservation if there were no cars? The website shouldn’t allow you to do that. It was a complete waste of time. I have been a Hertz Gold member for many years and this is the first time I experienced poor customer service.

We’ve rented over a dozen times here and wouldn’t have it any other way. Staff are always friendly and welcoming! Cars always clean and rental pickup process is smooth and quick! If more than one car is available, they’ll ask your preference. Return process just as quick as pickup! Love these ladies!

We reserved a midsize suv. When went to pick up vehicle, the lady tried to give us a Chevy trax for the price of a midsize. When we explained that wouldn’t even fit our luggage, she said “that is not my problem”. She didn’t even try to resolve the issue. She was so rude. Did not care and said “good luck with corporate. They won’t help you!” Went to Avis next to her. Hertz lost out on 400 bucks. Never again hertz.

Hertz President’s Circle member.Overall good experience. Good customer service. No issues with the process. Line can get long. Recommend get your car immediately.Only concern: Car was not clean completely.

The whole entire process of renting a car was made so much easier by the lovely people working here. They were so polite and helpful. Not to mention how awesome the car we rented was, we are considering purchasing the van we rented because of these people. Best car rental experience ever!
