Janda Exotics Animal Ranch is a federally and state licensed private exotic ranch. The experience is exceptional, hassle-free, and highly recommended. Visitors describe it as a very professional, clean, and impressive place. The animals, including prairie dogs, hedgehogs, chinchillas, kangaroos, southern flying squirrels, and bush babies, are noted for being docile, super healthy, friendly, happy, and very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to provide top-notch information and precise explanations. They ensure a personalized experience, offering one-on-one time to choose animals and thorough guidance on proper care and handling. The ranch facilitates successful breeding, with baby animals placed in approved facilities. Visits to see the baby animals are by appointment only.
Super easy and straightforward. She walked me through basic care and how to handle my prairie dog. Place was clean and she was a very sweet woman. You could really tell she loved animals. 10/10 drove over 4 hours to get there and would happily do it again for that level of service.

Drove a total of 46 hours to pick up my prairie dog pup Dixie. I couldnt be happier. It was well worth the drive. My baby is happy healthy and so very sweet. Will definately recommend Janda to anyone looking for exotics. Thank you so much Ashley I love this little girl to pieces.

This is such a neat place. I was just joking with my family that now I can get them all a baby kangaroo, or wallaby, so that I can sing “Everbody’s got a baby kangaroo” from Silly Songs With Larry. I will return here someday.
