“I contacted A & R yesterday (Monday 8/24/26) at around 4:30p due to my engine light just popped up on my car that also started idling very rough.
I spoke to Edgar, who was extremely patient listening to my vehicle issue and assured me that YES, they can look at the issue in the morning.
Edgar recommended I have my car dropped off at night and use the drop key slot and at 8:30a on Tuesday when the shop opens, my Hummer H2 will be diagnosed.
At around 10:30a, Edgar called me and let me know their initial diagnosis and estimated expense to fix, so not a surprise to me after the fact. He explained what the diagnosis discovered in lay men words so I could completely understand & approve of the fix.
At about 3:30p same day, Edgar called and said the car is fixed, they tested it twice to ensure the issue no longer existed.
This type of honest, straight forward diagnosis is rarely found in many shops.
I am glad I found A & R, Edgar, and gave them the opportunity to live up to all the 4.9 previous customer reviews previously posted.
I am happy to add my 5 star review to their collection and not only will I use A & R & Edgar for my wife’s car as well as let all my friends know about my experience for their cars.
A & R is a breath of fresh air and certainly stand out for their competency, honesty and customer appreciation among other shops anywhere!!

“I cannot recommend this highly enough! I have needed to replace the front bumper on my vehicle for a while, because the clips on the side snapped, and have been held in place with tape for longer than I care to admit. I will be doing a long-distance move and needed to get it taken care of. Jose came recommended by a mechanic I have visited in the past. He worked with me to ensure that I was replacing only necessary parts, and got it taken care of within one business day! The price he quoted was SO MUCH more affordable than what I anticipated. It is so hard to find someone to do quality work at a reasonable price, and I wish I had found this place sooner. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but it is definitely worth it! Jose was very responsive by phone and text, and I am sure saves overhead by not maintaining a website and finding a location with lower overhead. But, those savings are passed on to the customer! I would always rather support a small local business than some national chain.”

I hired Zack at Torqued Up ATX to fix a loose, vague highway feel on my CLS63 AMG. Another Mercedes shop; Benz Workshop quoted me around $8,000 and pushed struts. Zack actually inspected the car, confirmed the struts had already been replaced, and fixed the real issues: AMG rotors/pads, new front tires, and a proper alignment.

“Collin and Marble at SoulSpeed have been my go-to for alignments for years. Quality work with no issues every time. I've had a few cars worked on by Collin over the last decade. Each vehicle has been lower than factory ride height, which not too many alignment shops will touch. My last visit in February was in my 2021 GTI for an alignment, and mounting + balancing of BBS Motorsports wheels. The GTI drives like a dream after the alignment and new wheels mounted.
