“Never expected the true support we got from Russell and the team at the Buda, TX Austin Automotive. short story - MAJOR issue with the DEF system on my 2014 RAM. I had also scheduled an oil change. After diagnosing the issues he told me what it would cost. I explained that I had planned to trade in my truck at the end of the year (8 weeks away). He could have tried to convince me to fix it. That would have made them more money. Instead he told me that he thought with the age of the truck and what my plans were that it would be good to trade it in and let the dealership fix it as this would be cheaper for them to repair. OH AND he didn't do the oil change because, and I quote "I was worried this might be bad and I didn't want you to have to pay for an oil change on top of the expensive diagnostics we had to perform.".While it sucked for me, he didn't milk me. Then to add wonderful to the experience, he let me leave it there for two nights while I bought a new truck and got the dealership to tow it in for the trade in. Russell and Austin Automotive is now our go-to. Thank you Russell!”

“Have to agree with William and Ken.. Tony is the go to guy for me as well, been using Tony and his team for Decades.. Inspections he can do in his sleep.. restore that car, truck or RV.. basically if it has a motor and 4, 6, 8, 10 wheels and tires.. These guys will get you back on that Road.. he's restored several vehicles for me and done many a repairs on just misc. things.. Currently performing a Jiffy Lube make over for me on a vehicle they forgot to pull the old gasket on.. Thank you Jiffy Lube, I now get a new motor, which i didn't need, and i get to spend a month in a rental.. which i didn't need.. :) Thank you Tony for fixing their mistake. :)”

“These guys are awesome. I've been there several times now with my two older vehicles, and they always explain what's necessary to do right now versus what needs to be done at some point but can wait. Today, my car broke down while my truck was at their shop getting fixed, and they replaced the alternator on my car in just a few hours so I can get to work tomorrow. They stand by their work, they are faster than other places I've been to, and they are always super friendly and accommodating. I live just north of Lockhart and have been to almost every mechanic in this area, and this place is by far the best IMO.”

“My motor was too small for them to refurbish per cost. BUT, on the phone call I had, I learned more about motors than I ever thought I would. He was willing to help me out any way he could. I understand labor cost which is why mine was not viable. Super good talk and explained things well. If I dealt in larger motors I would use these guys hand down. Extremely honest. If y’all have a question about a motor give these guys a call, they can either do it or not, and explain the reasons why.”
