For some reason, people at this branch are incredibly lazy. I showed up at 4:45 on a Saturday, and their doors were already closed. This is absolutely unacceptable, lazy, pathetic behavior. I don't get to clock out whenever I want to, and the last time I checked, RBFCU in Kyle closes at 5:00, not 4:45. Absolutely lazy and pathetic employees at this location. If I show up again during business hours and they're closed, I'll be closing all of my accounts. I don't intend to keep my money with a bank that employees lazy, good-for-nothing people that can't handle sitting behind a desk all day.

Why is it that the ATMs are ALWAYS out of service??? I can barely ever deposit my money. Very inconvenient for me and I’ve been with RBFCU for years. I could have sworn they upgraded the machines.

I opened an account about a week ago and first hand witnessed the great disappointment. This branch seems to love to impose their will upon customers. Here is how.
It is my policy when opening a new account to do so with a manager based upon my many decades of experience experience with banks. I do this to avoid any potential mistakes (again from much past experiences). This rbfcu outright rejected my request to have a manager work with me. As a matter of fact, “supervisor” Tyler clearly stated that the manager was too busy to deal with me and if I don’t want to accept him to open my account, I can go home and come back another day! Later the manager did come and tell me to trust Tyler to open the account as she didn’t want to handle me. This clearly made me feel unimportant. But I guess that is what a customer must feel when subjugating himself to banking industry.
Now recall I stated earlier that the primary reason why I wanted to deal with a manager is to minimize the risk of mistakes. Well on June 14, a manager called LeAnne (spelling of name may be off) called me and stated that a mistake was made!! Tyler forgot to get my signature to authorize the account opening! A very fundamental mistake!
So here is the rbfcu policy when bank makes mistakes: the customer must correct it at his expense! The bank bears ZERO responsibility for such mistake. LeAnne proceeded to unsympathetically reiterate that if I don’t come in within HER (or rbfcu) dictated time table to correct rbfcu/Tyler’s mistake, then my account would be de-activate!
So bank makes mistake (despite them rejecting me to deal with manager to avoid these mistakes), customer must submit to manager’s unsympathetic whim that customer must fix it within the bank’s time table. LeAnne did not care about my life or my schedule, only what rbfcu demanded was of utmost important. Later she did say I can come in at a later time but that is after some bitter back and forth verbal discussions to convince the bank it doesn’t have a right to impose its will on me based upon its mistakes!
The real kicker is that when I asked “supervisor” Tyler questions during the account opening process and when he didn’t know the answer, he would just blame it on being a board decision. And immediately after mentioning the board, he would promptly state that he “wish to be part of the board one day”!! This wish was repeatedly stated to me MULTIPLE times as he brought up the board in many of his replies to my questions. It was as though he was hyping himself to be in the big C suite one day! Yet Tyler can’t seem to recall to perform the most basic task which is to get a customer’s signature so the account is not in jeopardy of closure!
To LeAnne’s credit, she did admit outright that RBFCU’s mistakes like what happened to me must be shouldered completely by me the customer. This is how banks stay very rich when they bear no responsibility of any kind by letting customers bear all the cost of bank’s mistakes!
Moral of story: I must now fix out of my own pocket Tyler’s incompetence which I tried to avoid from day one but was coldly rejected by everyone at RBFCU! trust Tyler I was told!
Later on the day I tried to call LeAnne back to give her one more piece of information but customers are auto routed to a central service area where the rep told me she can only send an email to LeAnne to ask her to call me. Of course LeAnne never called back!
I would NOT recommend this kyle rbfcu branch to anyone! And remember if customers make mistakes, you will surely pay for it in FEES! True hipocrisy at kyle RBFCU!

After 14 years of trying to work with RBFCU, today their lack of professionalism with me was just too much. I closed 4 accounts and no one in the whole organization ever made an attempt to keep my business.... no manager asked to assist.... no one said I'm sorry, how can we help.. Nada. Nothing. Unbelievable. Giving them a one was generous.

I have banked with RBFCU for 4 years and in my time with them, they have been nothing but helpful and professional. Anytime I have fraud activity they are quick to issue another card and refund me, and their customer service line is always accessible and they are always kind, I 10/10 recommend RBFCU!!

I waited outside for about 10 minutes and an employee told me they are setting up. She was very friendly and suggested another location. Day and time of operations are different on Google map.
