“The stripes in La Joya is the best stripes (los rayados!) Store I have ever been to. You got Daisy who just puts a smile on your face. She's witty, smart, funny and precise in the accuracy of the items purchase and change. She always asks if I would like my recipet. Brittany always a doll! She's one of the best there. Skilled knowledgeable and has patience. True multitaskers! Their laredo taco company kitchen hugs to the cooks! Kisses to the menudo maker! Wow like the one grandma used to make. You have Lucille bubbly and sweet. Makes sure to be reasonable with the servings. Emma, friendly and well spoken, easy to understand and communicate with. Our very own kinfolk Ms Julie (who is also my cousins Mario Rodriguez wife), a very wonderful member. She makes sure to get the order correct, skilled, well spoken, knowledge, friendly and multi tasker. A sweet heart. Even the tough one Alma, skilled and makes them tortillas soft and smooth. Fluffy and simply delicious like flour marshmallows 😋 good thing they have them combos and special offers because my son Pj and my daughter Amara love them rayados tacos! Store is clean, spacious, filled with a variety of items and fountain drinks are crisp 👌 🙌 👣refreshing. ☕ coffee freshly made. Gas ⛽ always at is most affordable rate. Thank you stripes for your wonderful staff members. Mr stripes, you take care of your employees for them folks/people are what maje your store credible.

Still the best stripes in the RGV. Employees are friendly, knowledgeable with their promotions and daily discounts. Best Menudo, on the weekends, so good! Tortillas usually well cooked soft and fluffy. Jay was superb this day. Made sure I recieved the deserved discounts. Thank you 7/11 for your awesome well mannered staff members/employees. “Well I unfortunately had to come here to get an ignition interlock / breathalyzer on my car but still wanted to write a review about the experience. This is already an embarrassing and humiliating thing to have to do but Homer did not make me feel that way. He was so NICE to me about it. When he took the time to show me how to use it, he was patient and encouraging. He even laughed at my jokes when I tried to find humor in it. There is just something to be said about someone who would do that so it was appreciated. Even when I panicked while driving because I couldn’t get it to work, when I called he was again, so nice and encouraging. Coaching me on how to just calm down and get home, calm down and then try it again. So again, I appreciated not being treated like a loser. 🤣

About the business setting: There is a very small waiting room with a TV. So if you need to go there, but you don’t want to leave your vehicle, you can wait. Also for a shop, it was very clean. Now I didn’t go to the bathroom, but it was still very clean. And apparently he knows audio. I saw so many trophies from past events that I can only assume he is very good at what he does when it comes to that. And looking at the list of services, he also accommodates anything audio, stereo, alarms, window tint and etc. so if you need those sorts of things, he can do that.

Language: Also, I believe that he also speaks Spanish so he can accommodate that. But I was more worried about English because this is a 90% Mexican community and I’ve had challenges finding folks that speak English. His English was excellent so he was able to communicate well with me, which is a huge bonus.

Location: The only issue I had was how to get there. Now it could be because I am new to this area and I fully relied on maps, but it took me a very weird way all through a neighborhood to get to that service road. Again, it could be because of where I live, but don’t freak out if maps takes you through a neighborhood. It will end up taking you back out on the service road, which is where his shop is.”

We live in Rio Grande City and prefer to drive all the way to Penitas just to get help with them cause there so professional at what they do. We left super satisfied.
