We drove to Wendell's, which is spotless. Within 10 minutes, they had put it on the computer and discovered there was nothing wrong with it. The total charge was NOTHING.”

“I'm new to auto repair places. I believe that communications with the new customers should be better than what I received. I was told it would be $99 to check out the problem on my vehicle. It actually was $105. The checkout charge was in fact $99.99 or $100 PLUS $5 for shop supplies. I don't understand shop supplies for plugging into the body computer on my vehicle.I can understand "Shop Supplies" for any repair where they are used. BUT, customers should be told ahead of pick up time of these charges. The check out charges are $105 and this is what should be told to customers.Then there is a call back when the vehicle was completed diagnosis. I waited until after 4PM to receive a call. I called Sun Automotive to determine if my vehicle was diagnosised and was ready to be picked up.So 4 stars due to lack of proper communications with a new customer.”

“I’ve had a great experience with this shop. I brought in my car after having a bad experience with another shop but in Pasadena. Having taking it here after that was a great decision. The staff was very helpful and informative. Pricing is decent. They were able to complete things to get my vehicle inspection ready without trying to overcharge me or sell me extra things I don’t care for. Especially considering it’s a 2005 car that I just need to get to work. They were able to explain to me the diagnosis and were very communicative throughout the time it was being worked on. I felt I was having more of a conversation about what I was comfortable with doing and spending. Definitely wish I hadn’t used so much money elsewhere to not even have my initial ticket completed. Anyway, great customer service and Jay specifically came in clutch with knowing how to work on my car.
