Wow! Where to start... I had the pleasure of visiting this location after the company I've been loyal to for years was very rude to me. I drove to Houston specifically to have them service my vehicle only to be told I needed an appointment for an oil change. I left and found Discount Inspection & Brake through a quick Google search.
This location is 2 minutes from me in Pasadena, and I am happy to have found such wonderful people close to home.
They were extremely thorough, patient, and willing to teach someone with no knowledge of vehicles the basics.
I went in for an oil change and left with peace of mind. They checked my filters, my skid plate was hanging and they did their best to assist, and they let me know I needed tires and brakes. One of the gentlemen even showed me how to replace my cabin air filter myself.
My previous mechanic never mentioned any of these issues.
I was highly satisfied with their service and I will be recommending them to family and friends for future reference.”

“Just, picked up my truck after a reoccurring issue with the transmission torque converter cooler failing for the 2nd time. Brought my truck into PSP to have them look at it. Justin confirmed that it had failed but this time there was no damage to the transmission that I had them install 2 yrs ago. Justin, suggested we bypass the cooler all together and go a different route to make sure that this problem never happens again. I appreciate his help along with Richard in getting my truck back on the road. I have been a customer of theirs for the past couple of years and they have always been good to me.”

“After calling so many shops in the area we finally found Mitchell’s!!! And let me tell y’all I took my car in for AC repair thinking well I guess I’ll be without a car for about a week, but no!! They called me the next morning after I took it after diagnosing it and said we should be able to have it ready by tomorrow if not for sure Thursday. Later that day he called back and said it’s ready!!! They fixed it in a day!! So grateful for them!! Their prices are good compared to most shops in the area and their service is top notch.”

“I've been so blessed to have Trans-Tech work on two vehicles of mine a Nissan Rogue I had towed from another shop and they installed a new transmission and for a reasonable price in September and shortly afterwards my Toyota left me stranded on the highway with a transmission problem and they discontinued making the transmission so Arthur started searching deligently and located multiple parts from various sources to rebuild it. I was too far into debt with this 2010 Toyota with multiple other repairs I had done to let it go and Arthur saved the vehicle, It's running great. I am very impressed with his knowledge and experience and highly recommend everyone to use Trans-Tech because he's very honest reasonably priced and the best! Thank you all Guys! God Bless you all!”
