“We loved our stay! Such a peaceful and epic place! Loved every part of it - the record player, the coffee makers, the hot tub, the outdoor shower, the deck, the scenery, the location, and the yurt!”
“The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were attentive and helpful. It's in a great location being set back away from the highway but close enough to gain easy access.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Rooms: Spacious and clean.

“I needed to run to the grocery store and asked how far to walk.. the guy that ran the shuttle was there and just took us.
So kind! Thanks for knowing your area. The walk would have been problematic and this made it easy!”
“We stayed in the Juniper treehouse and really enjoyed our time. It is very adventurous vibe and exactly what I was hoping for when we booked the place. The bathrooms are a small walk away, but nothing major and as others mentioned they are well maintained. The pool was cool too. They do a great job here.
A few things people may want to know. It definitely is loud from the road noise at the juniper and willow. You’ll notice it’s not that far from Hwy 71. We were hearing cars and trucks all through the day and night. It’s not like honking and sirens loud, but you do hear the road noise pretty clearly. Also, if you are there when other people are staying in the neighboring treehouse it can be a little frustrating if they keep their lights on late at night as this glows right into the window. I took a picture, this was around 11 at night. I’m not sure how to combat this as they provide blinds and everyone is there to enjoy themselves, but I was hoping to feel a little more distanced from night lights being in nature. It was not a problem the first night when no one was in the neighboring treehouse. The staff is great though, anything we needed they were quick and helpful.
All in all a great trip and fun times. If you are looking for something super secluded, this probably wouldn’t be the best spot. I am unsure if the more expensive treehouses have the road noise and light issue.”

“Kind of hidden but enjoyed our short stay.
Only problem was the hotel was without water for a full day. Did not come back on till late at night. No notice and indifference from the General Manager.”

“I loved my stay from top to bottom. Front Desk Staff was great and very helpful throughout my stay. My room was wonderful top to bottom. I'm generously pretty picky when it comes to my hotel rooms but I had absolutely no complaints. Thank you for helping me feel welcomed. During my stay I learned that the management is new. The new General Manager and Assistant Manager brought hangers to my room. You can tell they really care about the hotel and their guests. I'm excited to come back in a few months to see their hard work paying off!”
“This is a great lodge. I had to book something last minute, and they were able to accommodate me at a fair price. The front desk receptionist was personable and funny, so check in was pleasant. The overall feel was very charming, and exactly what I wanted for my first night in Texas. An added bonus was they had the western channel, so I was able to watch Gunsmoke on TV before going to bed.Anyone who left less than 5 stars is probably a city slicker from New York, so please ignore their reviews. Come support a local business. You won't be disappointed.”
“We had a great time at The Shores at lake travis. We had a renovated unit with all that we need it. I do have to admit that it was helpful that i took my favorite frying pan and some extra pots. The service was excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay away from the city this is the place to disconet. So many deers around and the lake near is s great convination. 15 mimutes away from 2 grocery stores and 5 from a gas station. In the evening we took a sun set cruce from Liquid Thrillz our capitan was Keith and he was great. Overall is a great place to stay.”
