“The people who work here are really nice. They let me use the bathroom in the back when I really needed it and they've always got my favorite C4 sodas which i can only find here and at HEB. Their chip selection is impressive and I've never found an out of date item on the aisles. It's a good little place to stop between Laguna and Whitney.”

“Lived down the road for 10 or more years. Go here quite often. The soda and other drinks are around the same price as everyone else here in town. Their lucky strike cigs are the cheapest in tow 7.17 compared to others 9 a pack. People complain about the Indian man running the place but if you talk to him he's not bad just has a very stern personality but him and his wife are very friendly if you actually talk to them. Food is good at the diner and even though it may be a dollar or two more than sonic, the food is fresh and cooked well.”

“I enjoy going to this store. They have a wide selection of items to choose from. The store is always clean and the parking lot is well lit at night. If you can stop in early in the morning, try their breakfast items. They also carry alot of items for the lake and fishing.”

“I drive around Texas a lot and often drive through Whitney. This is the cleanest, most orderly, best stocked and friendliest of any Alsups I have stopped at. In fact, I will drive through a nearby town 20 or more miles away just to stop for my coffee and breakfast sandwich at this one. In my mind, it rivals any other convenience store out there.”
