“I had never been here before and I'm not from the area but I had gotten a flat and needed a fix fast. My wife had a flat so I drove out to her, put some air in her tire, and drove to the nearest tire shop I could find which was Petty's. I pulled up and they were busy. My wife had an important appointment to get to and was already probably going to be late due to the flat so time was of the essence. I asked the guy behind the counter how long it would be and he told me there were "4 or 5" people ahead of me. I politely explained I was in a hurry and if there was anything they could do to help speed thing along I would greatly appreciate it. They immediately got to work and got me set and on my way in about 15 minutes. It was amazing. My wife even made it to her appointment on time.I'll probably never be in the area again to need their help, but I highly recommend them. They also have awesome beards, which isn't really relevant but pretty important if you ask me.Service: Tires”

“They have the BEST hot box around !! The chicken is amazing. We drive from Aubrey to Tioga a couple times a week to get lunch for the guys. Robin is always so nice. She always makes sure I get what I need. She even cooks more chicken on the spot if I need it. Great customer service and great Hot Box food. The pizza is great too,, and the Jambalaya, everything !!!”

“Great place to grab some breakfast, coffee and awesome selection of cigars! Everyone is friendly except one guy with brown hair and glasses that makes inexperienced new workers struggle on their own making subway sandwiches while customers wait in line. He also very rudely refused to toast a flatbread. Next time it happens I'm formally complaining to subway corporate.
Other than that rude manchild, it's always a pleasant stop.”

“Diesel pump wouldn't start. Several cycles of the switch didn't resovle. I complained to the clerk. She came out and said it the display indicated that a zero gallon fill had been registered. She reset everything and then I was able to refill the vehicle. Thanks to her for knowing what to do.”

“I had never seen this place before this visit. I grew up in the area. And it's growing like crazy. This was a perfectly placed stop. Right off 35 and easy access to 82. They had everything we needed to continue the last leg of our 4 hour journey to visit home. Ice juice snacks for the kids beer and smokes for the old man. Gas. Bathrooms were clean.”
“It was Breakfast time, i had no food in my house so I was hungry. I decided I wanted donuts. They carry various types of donuts in their 7-eleven convenience store. I stopped, got Donuts and was at my office within 10 minutes from there. Fast, efficient, with the products you desire. Score!”

“This convenient store has it all. From gas, to a cold wine and beer walk-in. It carries a breakfast pizza that is very good. Ask for extra cheese, you have to pay but you will love it. Eggs, sausage and cheese; add some hot sauce and you can't put it down.”

“We were coming from Arkansas and heading to rednecks with paychecks so we stopped here to get all of our gas and ice that we were going to be needing. Since this was a travel center, we expected them to have access to water for our camper. But when we got there this is a small travel center and they do not have water. So we actually found a bigger truck stop a couple of miles down the road that provided more of what we needed for our trip. But just for your local everyday gas station, they have everything that you need. And the workers inside were very friendly. And the bathrooms were clean.”

“The attendant didn’t talk to me at all when I was
checking out, which was freaking awesomeness. I was able to buy 7 3-packs of sharpies and excessive amounts of caffeinated drinks, so A+ for convenience. The bathrooms were pretty nice, had a lot of silly prints on the walls and there were some dead cockroaches in the corner for decoration. 4 stars because the bathrooms were too clean for my liking but the cockroaches almost make up for it. Would recommend.”

“Nice spacious gas station that is conveniently located and easy to get into and out of. I took away a star bc I always pay at the pump, and it is next to impossible to see what the screen says after you put in your card. I have this problem at every Valero. I always put in my card, wait for it to beep, then put in my zip code and press Enter. I figure the pump won't start unless the payment was accepted...but I always worry that I'm inadvertently driving off without paying for my gas just bc I can't see the dang screen to know if everything went through. This is an equipment problem with Valero itself, not this particular location. Valero needs to install high contrast screens that are easy to read no matter what time of day you go (this problem may be better at night, but I wouldn't know).”

“I absolutely love the restaurant in the corner. So wonderfully delicious, and authentic that you can taste the love put into the food. Not only does she occupy the location at the Valero on hwy 82 in Oakridge, TX but she has her own authentic restaurant (not sure where but would definitely visit) wonderful service, wonderful woman and wonderful food. If I could give her 100 stars then I would! A must try!”
