Austin Pedal Kayaks is the #1 rental shop for kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal kayaks on Lake Travis. Tucked in the "no-wake" zone of the Hurst Creek Arm, this area offers plenty of awesome water to explore and enjoy. No reservations are required, and walk-up customers are welcome. Watercraft is rented on a first-come, first-served basis, but reservations can be made online to secure a spot for a specific time, date, or group size. The last boats go out 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing. Customers praise the friendly and informative staff, particularly Zach, who takes the time to familiarize and educate first-time kayakers. Best kayaking experience I’ve had in Austin. It was easy to reschedule due to bad weather, checking in and getting on and off the kayak was extremely smooth. Shout out to Zach and his wife for great hospitality. Will be coming here regularly
