Jessica Hollis Park is a conveniently located day-use park situated just downstream of Mansfield Dam on Lake Austin. It is a great little picnic and swim spot with beautiful, clear, and refreshing water that is a bit colder than most other parts of the lake. The park offers a very chill and good vibe, perfect for paddle boarding, fishing, or spending time on the lake. It features a great parking lot, is easily accessible, and has lots of shade. Visitors should note there is a $5 entry fee, tables require reservation, and at times there can be an unpleasant smell or algae in the water. The park rangers are very kind and friendly.
Be Aware early in the morning! The Mosquitoes are Very Aggressive!!! Not sure about the evening time but morning to mid morning is Bad. Also when reserving on weekend be sure you select the correct day and time because you will not get reimbursed. Otherwise a very peaceful place for family and friends to enjoy.

As long as you’re there when the water is right - it’s beautiful! Sometimes the boaters try to mess with the paddle boarders so just keep an eye out. Other than that, it’s absolutely beautiful and a great place to start paddle boarding.

This is a great little picnic and swim spot with self-service paddle boards. The damn is very close by but still the river is beautiful. Unfortunately, there was a lot of algae growing in the water except in a handful of small board launch areas where it had been cleared away.
