“We got to meet the owner and discussed her fascinating life. This little store is such a good expression of that personality and you'll know what I mean when you see it. The kindness shown to all of us in the store was so inviting. One true Texan experience.”

“Better than average gas station for the 183 route between Abilene and Austin. Bathrooms unlikely to cause lasting trauma. Plenty of room for RV's and vehicles with trailers to maneuver. Staff generally polite, friendly, and adequately hides their internal despair at being locked into a lifetime of wage-slavery with no hope their existence will ever encounter genuine fulfillment. Standard ADA compliance for those in wheelchairs.”

“We stop here almost every time we pass through Lampasas. Mainly for the restrooms. They are clean 95% of the time. No it isn’t a Buc-ees but who is? They have a fat selection of drinks. The roller dogs are straight gas. ??That means good for you boomers. ??? Fuel pumps work well and are clean. The outside isn’t as new as others but this is one of the best gas stations in town. Staff is friendly but always changing.”

“Genuinely the nicest, cleanest 7/11 I’ve ever been to. Didn’t have the funky smell that a lot of 7/11 stores have, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Definitely a good stop if you don’t want to use a funky/gross restroom.”
