We had a broken trailer from another location. They helped us when they didn’t have to! Could have told us to go back where we came. They helped unload the broken trailer, load the new one, change the ball hitch, and even gave us water bottles. They made a stressful situation so much better. Thank you David and Shelby!!
Bonus points. Their parking lot is really easy to turn around in. Great when you have the trailer attached.

Extremely unprofessional experience. The staff did not have the truck properly prepared or cleaned at pickup, and there was confusion about the reservation that could have been easily avoided with better communication and organization. I would strongly recommend going to a more reliable location if you want a smooth and honest rental process.

Came here on the 4/30/2025. I walked in and the lady I met acted like she didn’t see someone walk in, no regard, no good morning or whatsoever.
She stayed on the phone for like 5 mints and kept me standing without saying a word to me.
Now she had the time to attend to me and she goes, if you’re not the driver, then I can’t lease you the truck. Understandable.
I went home to bring my husband, she goes, oh I need another person’s information aside from you and your husband, hello, we’re not signing a lease for a house or something, why do we have to put everyone in our business only because we are renting a truck for a day? Like seriously?
We’ve been going to another location with no problem. This is our first time in this store and I must say the white lady there is very unprofessional, lacks customer service etiquette. I’ll never return here.

Avoid renting from this U-Haul location. The general managers are extremely rude and unhelpful. This location lacks transparency, communication, and professionalism. I strongly recommend renting from a different U-Haul location or another company entirely.

Guys!!! Remember to check your mileage before leaving and returning. This store charged me exactly 40 miles fee (well I wish they could have charged 38 miles or 42miles, 40 miles is too precise to be ture lolllll) even though my Google maps showed that my whole traveling mileage was only 28 miles:( that is not good at allllllll

i used the online feature, and inc winded it to the U-haul location the staff made sure i had everything i needed. The rental and pickup of the vehicle was an easy process.

I had a rental lined up for this morning. I called the day before to make sure the truck was ready and confirmed I could pick it up at 7 am. I showed up to pick up the truck and they moved the location to Roanoke which is 40 min away and changed the pick up time to tomorrow. I had no phone call from anyone! Terrible communication and they offered 50 bucks off… the movers waiting on me are 125 an hour and they will have to sit around and wait for 2 hours.

Went in at 6:40 pm to refill propane tanks. I was told that they closed propane today at 6:25. The store closes at 7. I asked when they shut down propane for the day and no one said anything. I asked if it varies and they confirmed that it varies.
