“Stopped here to stretch my legs on my way to Kansas and I must say the people were super friendly. The subway clerks were lively and fun to talk to. They made me a sandwich that was so Good that I had to get another one for the ride and mind you I'm not a fan of Sauerkraut. She recommended i to try it on the sandwich. I did and haven't looked back. That was the best part of the trip and I will be coming back soon.”

As there us a grocery store inside & had to wait for them to check out someone with $250 in groceries, cashing in few lottery tickets, uying cigarettes & then was writing a check. Then had to wait for my refund so they could check out 2 people with beer & cigarettes??”

“The restaurant inside is a hidden gem! We had fried catfish, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage, and jalapeño cornbread. Amazing- fresh but also fast. Didn’t catch if restaurant had a name, but it did have a sign saying “Black-owned business.” Definitely worth a stop!”

“Amazing as always since it's Buc-ee's smaller one which is really funny and doesn't have all the food and merch as the normal ones but has great selection more normal to a gas station.

“In the small town of Giddings this is an oasis for mankind! Seriously! There just is not too much in Giddings... a half hearted Buc-ee's (something so small they should really be ashamed to call it a Buc-ee's),a Walmart that has 3 isles of groceries... and a cornucopia of fast food or bad food places. In this sea of mediocrity there is a small light... a semblance of possible civilization.... and it's called Rattlers. A decent price for gas in a small town, lots of fast pumps, a large convenience store, a walk in beer cooler, a Burger King attached, and the bathrooms are clean! Hallelujah! (One knock... the staff could not care less about the customers!) Get you gas, grab a 6pk, load up on snacks... and enjoy life in a little place called Giddings.”
“The friendliest store in Texas!! Every time I visit my sister in Lexington I make sure and stop in. The produce is always good and the prices are very fair..Same with the different meats sold there. In general it has just about everything a small town store could ask for. The cashier's are kind and helpful the owner himself is not afraid to help out also holding the door open for customers. Definitely worth stopping in.”
“I was traveling on 77 north and needed a spot to power nap before my next 2 hours of road time. I saw all the signs that said paying customers only for the restroom, so I bought a drink and asked politely to use the facilities. When I got back to my vehicle, I was able to nap for about half an hour before a train woke me up. Manoj was very kind, super attentive, and I appreciate them letting me use their service station as a pit stop. Any traveler who needs a clean restroom and a wide variety of a cooler full of cold drinks, Manoj has you covered. Thank you guys!”
