“I called Hank's Auto repair about transmission problems on my 2016 Chevy Silverado. My vehicle has the 8 speed transmission, and since 47000 miles has been nothing but problems. Chevrolet addressed the problem under warranty for (converter shudder) and was never the same. Had hard downshifts. and when shifting was very noticeably. Fact is the factory transmissions were badly engineered, and GM knew had a problem. -----Getting back to Hank's they brought a wrecker and took my vehicle to their shop. Communication was never an issue and was kept updated on my vehicle start to finish. They have a very friendly and professional staff, and I felt they were honest throughout my experience with them. The turnaround was quick, and a new rebuilt transmission was installed. This took place in about 4 business days. My truck has 97600 miles on it now when was taken to Hank's. With the new transmission don't really notice the shift. The shift is so smooth I had to look at the tach to see that it was shifting. I would also say if you need a wrecker service to use them also. Hanks charged me $125 instead of the $515 dollar wrecker service to pull my vehicle .9 of mile. (9/10's} Would strongly advise if you have a vehicle problem use them, I would again.”
