“I recently attained a home loan from Texas Bank and Trust. The experience was pretty good for such a trying event. I had to talk to be handed off to 2 different loan agents and talk to a 3rd before it was finished is the only reason they aren't a 5 star. There was extenuating circumstances that caused this on their side, so it's not a 3 star either. This bank started as the small town bank here and then was bought by a larger bank which happens so often when you have a long standing history with a town. Luckily, they left everyone intact and it continued to function as it had before, just with a bit more paper work and others to report to I hear. If you have any questions, there is always someone to sit down with and explain until you are comfortable with the answers. They are truly concerned about their customers.”

“I’ve been with BTH since 1997 in Mineola. I moved over to Lindale when they opened this office. I’ve ALWAYS had great service, kind employees, and they’ve always gone over and above to help me. When I had someone steal my debit card number as we were leaving town for vacation, BTH caught it before I did. They called me and determined fraud. They cancelled my debit card and had offered to prepare travelers checks for our trip. It was so smooth and encouraging to know someone was watching our back!!”
