My husband and I went to get more charms for my Christmas bracelet. I have at least 10 charms and wanted more. Two sales people looked at and each walked past us to assist people that came in after us. I don't know if it was my husband's tattoos or the fact we were in t shirts and jeans, but no one would assist us even when we asked. The location in HEB Schertz has far better customer service and always makes us feel welcome. This location is full of snooty people. They remind me of the saleslady from Pretty Woman.... big mistake. The Schertz location will get our money from now on.

I've always shopped at James Avery. My wife has charm bracelets for every season. I have several necklaces, rings, and bracelets. For some reason, maybe my tattoos or dressing too casual, we got no help at this store. The HEB James Avery is way more customer friendly. This store is apparently for snooty people.

Excellent customer service. They don’t hover over you while you look around which is a huge plus.

Peggy was cold and rude to me. She didn't greet me or even tried to be friendly, she snatched my receipt out of my hand and didn't even offer to give me a bag or box for my jewelry. The jewelry I got was for my mother's birthday... I walked off because I didn't think I needed to say anything else and she decides to say have a nice day in a passive aggressive tone. I called the 1800 line for james avery and I could not believe that Rene, was rude to me too. With the amount that people spend with james avery you would think there would be a level of customer service. To add insult to injury, although Alex was nice, she didn't not offer me compensation for the inconvenience I went through... I had to ask for compensation... they only gave me 25.00 lol please don't go to this james avery especially if your Hispanic/latino.

I was visiting San Antonio at a prime time and discovered that JA had a promotion going where if you bought two charms, you got the necklace or bracelet free. Amazing deal! Anyway, James Avery is a great place to pick up gifts and charms to mark trips and milestones. The store on Lookout Rd, is small and it felt a little quiet. The service was great, as I was greeted right away and when I approached the counter, several associates were available to assist. I knew what charm I was looking for, and she helped me locate it and made suggestions on other charms that would compliment it. I ended up getting the Virgencita charm and the Texas serape charm. The associate let me try on the necklace to ensure I liked the length, and then carefully packed it up with the pouch. When I mentioned it was a gift for my mom, she provided me with the gift box and asked if I wanted a card. I always appreciate the extra service and attention when the gifts are being packed. She reminded me of the sale dates and provided me with a pamphlet to take, in case I wanted to order online. The experience was great and positive. Highly recommend this location.

I only buy older charms online because I (like MANY others) don’t like the shiny mirror finished quality at James Avery recently because they scratch super easily and look cheaper than the old ones but I LOVE this location and the girls are always so nice when helping me attach charms! They are so professional here! I would honestly buy so much stuff from this location if James Avery in general was the same quality as 10 years ago. It’s not about the money it’s about the quality. I wish it was still the same but I will check back over the years to see if the quality gets better! Don’t gaslight me with the response that the quality/craftsmanship is the same because I have tons of photo evidence and a community of people that only buy the older stuff proving otherwise lol.

Real disappointed about there service. I have spent a great deal of money there on my wife an myself. A necklace I bought. I love, but I wear it to a point I guess it will stretch after awhile. Well they wanted me to pay for half. I disagree with that. It's meant to be worn. There's nothing in writing it says it would do that.

Nice store. I am used to the workers greeting me and coming over to help. We wrote down our item numbers, and we were helped, and workers were nice. My charm had to be cleaned, and it was new?

My daughter and I had been looking around all day for some thumb rings and wound up at James Avery. I've been in their stores a few times with friends and/or relatives, but I had never purchased anything. The store was kind of busy when we walked in, so no one came to help us, which was understandable. I kind of remembered what to do in regards to finding the pieces that you're interested in and writing it on the paper and taking the paper to the counter, which is where my dissatisfaction began. The young lady at the counter did not seem happy at all to help us. She wasn't very suggestive and we had to prompt answers out of her. When we did decide what we wanted and got ready to pay, I wanted to know why the price was $158 when I bought two rings at $54 each. She then explained that because my daughter's ring needed to be sized there would be an additional charge, which is totally fine, I just wanted that explained to me. When I was done paying, the cashier gave me my receipt and I guess I was supposed to pick my ring up and wear it out of the store, but I didn't want to do that. I had to ask for it to be bagged for me. Overall, the cashier was not friendly or welcoming at all.
