“It was a little busy when I was here last (the Sunday {April 7th} before the big eclipse) but once I got into a pump and paid (cash at the kiosk) it was quick for me to get in and out. The attendant was friendly and quick to set my pump. As far as getting gas goes, it was a smooth experience and I enjoyed fueling up here.”

“I highly recommend this business! I was traveling from Dallas to Georgetown last week, heard a noise and realized a few seconds later that I couldn't see out my rear window at all because it was covered in oil. The car filled with an awful smell and the oil light started flashing. My oil pan drain plug had come out and I lost all the oil in my engine. (Apparently, when it had been in the shop in Dallas a few days earlier, the plug hadn't been put in correctly.)
I exited I-35 as soon as I could and parked the car in the first available spot I found on the side of the road. As I got out of the car, I looked up and realized I'd parked in front of Moore Automotive.
A mechanic came out and asked if needed help. He and the other mechanics tried to find a plug that would fit and in the end, had a new plug and five quarts of oil delivered, within about 15 minutes. They put the new plug in, added the oil, had me start the car and waited to make sure I had no engine damage. Within an hour, I was back on the road.
If you are in the area and need car repair, I highly recommend Moore Automotive. They went above and beyond, were professional, respectful, kind and so thorough. Thanks again from a grateful customer!!”
“Always one of the lowest prices on fuel in the area. Getting in and out of there can be challenging at times at peak hours.It's not a very big station with many vehicles jockeying for a pump. I go early in the morning or later in the evening.”

I don’t know if the person who commented about the staff standing around behind the counter and the coolers being empty picked the right location, but I live right down the street and am in here multiple times a week at different times of the day and I’ve literally never experienced anything but friendly and productive staff, and a clean and fully stocked store.”

“We started our road trip back home very early. Our 1.5 year had been in the car a few hours, so he was ready to stretch, and we needed the restroom and fuel. My son had so much room to run, and he LOVED the sunrise. There was plenty of grass if you have an animal. It was very easy to get back on the freeway.”

“The town of West, Texas is a speed trap for Kolache fans! Everybody plans a Kolache break at West, Texas on their IH35 road trip. 24 Hour Czech Stop Travel Store with 6 Shell Gas pumps ( *No Diesel ) is right along the frontage road at Oak Street in West. 2 bathrooms inside. If you drive RV, or Towing, the Czech Stop oversize parking is across the street with large signs. CZECH STOP has beers, singles or packs. Many types of bottled soft drinks, waters, etc. Kolaches, sandwiches wrapped to-go, baked goods, snacks. Road trip needs & souvenirs, tee-shirts, etc The LITTLE BAKERY is next to Czech Stop, open daytime hours only. Separate sales from the travel store. Has customer bathrooms also. Little Bakery has Kolaches, Klobaznikis, Cakes, Cupcakes... also Deviled Eggs, Greek Yogurt parfaits, Fruit cups, veggie sticks snacks, and Sandwiches wrapped to-go. Sugary stuff & healthy stuff! At closing time, baked goods are moved over to the Czech Stop ( fresh & day-old discounted ). But finding a Kolache at 1AM is rare! *Life hack: The overflow parking might be easier to park & depart, just be careful crossing the street. The gas pump area gets pretty crazy at times.”

“Best gas station in Hewitt by far. The staff has the vibe of a dive bar and makes you feel like part of the family, which is very unusual and welcome for a gas station. Plenty of pumps, and the air/water station is probably the best I've ever seen. Clean bathrooms and a decent selection of drinks, snacks, and food, plus good coffee to be had.”
“Quick in and out getting fuel as long as no one is in the way. Would not waste your $$$ inside the store. We get fuel here and they won't give you a free cup of coffee!! ☹”

“I was able to pull up and fill up my tank with minimal hassle, so it was great. I love that it works with my Walmart+ subscription for 10 cents off per gallon. It link to my WM+ account and I even pay through the app. Just put in the pump number and the app does the rest. There are closer stations, but I drive here for this.”
“The rest rooms are marvelous. Floor to ceiling are marble with semiprecious stonelike backsplashes. Entire floors are quality thick inlay marble. Walk way to bathrooms also adorned with marble. Dont mind spending my money there..at 3am in the morning.”

“I've been working in Waco/Hewitt area for 8 years and never had stopped here until today 01/29/2021, just stopped to get a energy drink and found out they had food! like breakfast tacos, Mexican breakfast tacos, I had 2 picadillo and 1 quesadilla. was a little pricey but worth it. Will be coming back probably just for the food.. haha”

“I could see their gas price sign from a distance so i was able to exit in time. Easy to get to, and was not too busyGas was cheaper than displayed on Google maps. The gas pumped out so fast I had to throttle the pump trigger back so it would not click off, so for a fast fill up! The receipt even printed out!. I didn't need to go inside, but the place looked fairly new and clean from the outside.”
