A-1 Automatic Transmission Service is a family owned and operated business with over 37 years' experience, proudly servicing Lubbock and the South Plains. They provide transmission repair and replacement with friendly support, honesty, integrity, and high attention to detail. Many customers report great service, with the final bill sometimes being lower than the original quote. They work hard to complete jobs efficiently, even during busy schedules, and trucks often run better than ever afterward. Most reviewers highly recommend the business without question. However, one customer was unhappy with an unexpected charge for consultation and advice, feeling surprised by this cost. Overall, it is considered a great place with great rates.
I had a great experience with A1 Transmission. Grant was very professional and called me to explain what my issues were with in couple days. Fixed it without any additional cost. I have recommended them already to a good friend for his truck..
