Rooms: Room accommodation were great the only bad is could not access the balcony.Walkability: Easy to walk around to get something to eat, to do groceries and even to a park.Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants to choose from within the vicinity.

Not a bad hotel, but not enough room for 6 people. Definitely good for maybe 2, but the bed was broken in and sleeping with two people in the bed was not comfortable whatsoever. Also insanely expensive breakfast so we didnt get anything.

Good rooms. Mostly quiet and the noise is from the hallways.

I have stayed at this property several times over the years. Unlike most hotels that get run down as they age, this one has only gotten better. My recent stay was a one night stay passing through. I cannot say enough about the front desk agent that served us the most, Ethan. He got my name during check-in and used it in every encounter, really made me feel like I was appreciated. A good desk agent will offer polite small talk during check-in but Ethan’s was genuine while remaining professional. I’m Titanium Elite with Marriott have stayed over 1000 nights at Marriott properties around the world and Ethan is probably the best I’ve ever met. I hope Marriott can hold on to him and offer him a long career with growth opportunities. When I stayed at this property before there were repairs and updates in progress. It appeared most of those had been completed. The lobby is modern and nice and the rooms are updated and clean. The location is great, easy access to freeways and there’s a large selection of restaurants within walking distance — we walked to Cheddars at Ethan’s (front desk agent) suggest and it was superb. Good prices and very good food.

The front desk and patrons of the Fairfield have complained numerous times about the constant clanging of the Courtyard’s flagpole halyard. I am in town multiple times throughout the year and this still has not been fixed. This occurs all day. The front desk at the Courtyard is less than helpful. Please fix your flagpole.

I usually don't stay at Courtyards as they're one of the only Marriott brands that doesn't provide breakfast. Rooms were clean and had the normal amenities. Jacuzzi was out of order, though. Also, front desk attendant was gone for a good 5-10 minutes when we first arrived.

We absolutely love this hotel, it's clean, cozy, and the staff are the sweetest. I would like to name a couple in particular that welcomed us. Thank you to Ethan, Alex, and Crystal. Y'all are the best! Keep it up!

It's a decent place to stay in Lubbock. The staff was friendly but the location is just ok (10 to 15 minutes from Tech), the parking lot was crowded, and it provides worse value for money than comparable hotels. It's not any nicer than the competition in its category, but provides fewer amenities and is more expensive. I'd stay there again if other places are sold out or if I have enough Marriott points to stay there for free.

Stayed at this courtyard in Lubbock when I was in town for work. I stay in Marriott hotels all over the country so i have high status and i know pretty good hotels amongst these Marriott's. This was easily one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. First off it was $258 a night taxes included so that was already going against them but they hiked the rate since it was the weekend before the students went back to school. Next my friend who was with me stayed in a different room in the 3rd floor and he left after one night due to his room smelling like smoke. I should've followed him and stayed at the other courtyard by campus because i woke up to leave and a roach was underneath my doorway. I don't know where it came from but it was there thank God i was leaving. Not to mention my shower was dirty. I wear shower shoes anyway but man it was just an unclean shower. Won't be returning to this courtyard. If it's no rooms around and they are the only hotel available i will stay in an air bnb. Don't do it to yourself.

Days before asking about booking the receptionist gave attitude. When I arrived the gentlemen was very kind and sincere, and I liked the Spin the Wheel feature. The rooms was well prepared and everything I expected. The pool had a few dead bugs near, not too thrilled about that. I was a bit disappointed about the breakfast, I had hoped for more options.
