Courtyard Lubbock is a hotel that offers clean and well-set-up rooms, although they appear a bit outdated. Guests appreciate the friendly and energetic staff, with particular praise for a front desk agent named Ethan, who provides exceptional, professional, and genuine service. The hotel’s service quality stands out, making guests feel valued and well taken care of, often surpassing other nearby hotels. The staff’s positive attitude and attentiveness contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel’s location is convenient, providing easy access to nearby restaurants, groceries, parks, and walkable areas. Guests can find plenty of dining options within walking distance, including a recommended restaurant suggested by Ethan. While the rooms are generally comfortable, some reviews mention that balconies are inaccessible and that the beds may be uncomfortable or broken, especially when accommodating larger groups. Breakfast is not included and can be expensive, which some guests consider a downside. Facilities like the pool, hot tub, and gym are currently out of order, which was not a concern for all guests. Overall, the hotel is praised for its cleanliness, good service, and convenient location, with many guests highlighting the quality of the staff, especially Ethan, as a standout feature. It is suitable for short stays, business trips, and travelers seeking friendly service and a good location.
The rooms were clean they are a bit outdated and you can tell but the housekeeping was super nice she said her name was Mamie she did give me a nice gesture and super positive. The only thing I would say is they don’t have breakfast but it’s okay not too far from a McDonald’s.
