“Too bad that a person in a wheelchair can't fit the chair into their restroom to give a sample in privacy. I would have thought HIPPA would require wheelchair access to a laboratory.”
“I received a phone call from Avero to pay a bill for lab services I had done at one of my doctor's office. I had no details on the bill nor had I received one in email or mail at this point. I tried calling back but wasn't able to get through to anyone anytime I called. I finally received the actual bill in the mail, at this point it was a final notice to pay. I tried to pay the bill but the website said I needed an access code. The bill they sent me did not have an access code so I would call in and leave messages asking for this number. I received a few voicemails from Lisa with the Customer Care team but never received the access number. Every time I called back, no one answered. I finally got through to Sheila today who admitted that the bills were not clear and told me that the access number was the ticket number with a dash in a certain spot. When I asked a question for clarification, she repeated what she said in a condescending tone and then informed me that I was likely unable to pay my bill due to it being in collections. I told her that I was frustrated with this because I had been asking for this number every time I called. She kept interrupting me and was incredibly rude so I told her she could transfer me to a supervisor to which she told me that they didn't have supervisors. Later on she told me there wasn't a supervisor on at that time. She also told me that a supervisor wouldn't even call me back. She did give me a number to voice a complaint of how my account was handled. When I called that number, it went to the collections agency which is not helpful in this situation. I tried to contact them through their website and received an error message.”
“My Doctor's office was using a new Computer program. They did not send the Lab I was suppose to print it but my printer was not working. The front desk lady showed me how to email it to her.”
