7503 I-27 Frontage, LubbockWe started bring our poodle/bichon here to be groomed recently on the recommendation of my son who's been bringing his dogs here to board and groom his dogs for years. Usually, when I pick up my dog from grooming, I can hear her in the kennel yapping and barking, but when I picked her up from Lollipop, she is always calm and very chill. Not only that, the way Sandy cuts her her is perfect, they prettiest cuts she has ever had.
We have also boarded all three of our dogs here and they came home happy to see us, but not crazy like when we have picked them up from other places. My son's dogs absolutely love coming to Lollipop, they jump out of the car and run in when it is time for a stay. You can tell they are well loved while they have their visit at Lollipop!

The Disciplined Dog
16410 Private Road 2000, LubbockI had my first dog trained here about 2 years ago. She was my first dog and everything I was trying wasn’t working. I learned so much about how to communicate with her and after only 3 sessions, she was a totally different dog. She was much more confident, obedient, and our bond really grew.
Flash forward to now, since my first dog made me want a second (iykyk), I quickly learned how different their personalities were, and my second pup (a rescue) came from a difficult background situation, which came with some concerning behavioral issues. The vet warned us that she might not be a good fit for our family as she got older and bigger. We were afraid that she might end up being a safety liability, but Luke proved us wrong. We are three sessions in and our pup has made a complete 180 and has quickly picked up everything he has taught her (and us).
Also, we had made boarding reservations at a different establishment for an upcoming trip that fell through last minute. I called Luke to see if there was an off chance he was able to board and learned he does offer this service! He even went above and beyond to make her stay young puppy friendly.
I guarantee he is the most knowledgeable trainer in Lubbock and is so affordable. He obviously loves what he does. Knowing now that he offers boarding services, I plan on bringing my pups here instead of boarding them at a daycare, knowing they will be safe with consistent care, and can have their skills refreshed instead of being turned loose in an overstimulating environment around potentially bad influences.

The wait staff were fantastic, so welcoming and the thoroughly explained their menu and specials knowing we were newbies. We both got the two meat plates each with two sides. It was all excellent. The brisket and ribs were so tender and tasty. We had the peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert, it was also excellent. The live old time country music that was played by a trio was not too loud and made the perfect background music for our meal. We don't know when we'll be back in Lubbock again, but when we do this place will be on our itinerary. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Good Line publicly opened its doors in mid-2022, and after I turned 21 that November, I immediately found myself becoming a regular. Through my final two years of college, I would always come to get some easy school work done, work on final projects, grab some beers with my friends, and come to their fun events like Oktoberfest, 4th of July, their anniversary parties, Cinco De Mayo with Jiminez, Lager Jam West, and more. From the owners Chris and Shawn to their staff like Eli and others, they are all very charming and great people to talk to. They all know their stuff when it comes to beer, so they can guide people who only know Miller Lite and Blue Moon as well as those with a more expansive palate, making sure each person gets the right beer for themselves. I always found myself trying new beers and styles done exceptionally well by Good Line that I may have never tried if not for their location existing. Some of my favorites they have served are Range Life, Parklife, which I miss since it has not made a return in some time, Floating in Space, These Pretzels, Wish I Was A Baller, All Night Candlelight, Specifics On The General, and Old Man Marley, to name a few. They also have a killer Cherry Seltzer and a pretty good wine based margarita. Their cheaper light beer, Friendo, is another great choice for people who are not looking for crazy craft beer but can still appreciate quality. There is plenty to do at Good Line, from watching major sporting events to joining the Monday night run club, participating in their book club, or just chopping it up with other Lubbock residents. It feels like a third space for a very specific kind of person. A person that loves a good beer but does not get plastered. A person that loves a good conversation on music with someone they have never met before. It is always a great time at Good Line, and I have met some really great people and regulars just from the times I have visited. I do not live in Lubbock anymore after graduating, but every time I visit, I always make a stop once or twice because it is always worth my time. God bless the Line. One thing we really appreciated was the option to substitute a cauliflower crust for those looking for a healthier choice without sacrificing taste. It’s great to see menu options that can accommodate different preferences.
The atmosphere was also a lot of fun. They have plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to catch a game. During our visit, we watched the Texas Tech softball team advance to the Women’s College World Series championship series to face the Texas Longhorns, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, everything was great—from the food to the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Parry’s Pizza to anyone looking for excellent pizza, wings, and a great place to watch sports.

It comes with a roasted garlic sausage, bacon jam, whipped cream cheese, sriracha, griddled onions, and fresh jalapeños. The combination sounds wild, but it all works together perfectly. The sausage has a great snap, the bacon jam adds a touch of sweetness, and the jalapeños bring just the right amount of kick.
They also have a huge selection of beers on tap, so it’s easy to find something that pairs well with the food. The pinball-themed atmosphere gives the place a unique vibe that’s different from your typical bar.
If you’re looking for a spot with great hot dogs, cold beer, and a fun atmosphere, check out Flippers Tavern. The Supersonic is definitely worth trying. 10/10, I’d order it again.

5903 178th St, LubbockOur beloved dog died Sunday am. I called Cimaron, who was open even on Sunday, and let me take our precious girl's body out and leave until we could decide what to do. The ladies we dealt with were exceptionally kind, sympathetic, and compassionate, and treated our dearly departed with the greatest respect. I couldn't recommend them any more highly and am so thankful to them for the dignity they demonstrated. And they expressed their condolences both visits; drop off and to pick up her remains. Thank you Cimaron, you have my deepest respect.

Minnie Sue's Maltese Puppies
2805 69th St, LubbockI got my sweet Tumble from Minnie Sue last summer. It was the best experience and Minnie Sue is such a kind, caring and honest person. She has been with me every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns I’ve had about raising my first Maltese. Tumble is in excellent health and has been the most perfect puppy I could hope for. I would highly recommended Minnie Sue Maltese.
