“I can't believe what happened to me. I live in San Diego and shiping from Texas to San Diego for 2 axles is about $600. I had a trip to Iowa planned to visit my daughter and I was driving to take her a table I made for her so I thought I would take an extra day on the trip home and just pick them up. I called 2 weeks ahead so they could get them ready. I drove down on Monday and got to their shop on Tuesday morning. They had not done them yet. So I waited. I watched them measure where to weld the spring seats on. I didn't think their method was the best but they do this every day so who am I to criticize how they do it. But I noticed that they never put a tape from one seat to the other to double check that the measurement was correct. They only measured from the middle to each seat. I did not have a tape measure with me to double check it. As they where finishing, a thunderstorm was approaching so we were hurrying to get them loaded. We didn't make it and I ended up getting soaking wet. Plus I had 12 hours of driving ahead of me so I was in a hurry to get on the road. Just got home and measured and yes, it is wrong. 1 1/4 inches wrong. I called and they are working on getting it fixed. I hate to complain because they are really nice people. But their technique for measuring where to put the spring seats needs to be better and fool proof. I will update this review when it gets all straightened out.

Update. I talked with them today, Friday, 2 days after getting home. They are sending out new spring seats and are refunding enough to get the wrongly placed seats removed and rewelded in the correct spot. While this is a hassle I did not need, they are taking care of the problem. And I do appreciate the professional way they handled it.”
