“I can’t say enough good things about Ammo Tires! My tire blew out while I had my two little ones in the van, and it was such a scary situation. Alfred, the manager, helped me with so much kindness and made the whole process feel easy. Cody arrived quickly to put on a spare and got us safely back on the road. They ordered me a replacement tire right away, and the price was very reasonable. I would give them 10/10 if I could highly recommend!”

Went in back in February and Mike J was able to get me new tires, new breaks and an oil change BEFORE my dog's grooming service was done. “I have a 24’ Jeep JT Rubicon and have been messing with it since I got it. Lifted, larger tires, different wheels, and plenty of other add ons. After doing all of that I noticed that a good breeze or the thousand overpasses around Houston I couldn’t keep 8th gear at all. I was stuck in 6th and 7th everywhere I went, except off-road but that’s a given. Every place I talked to about the next step which was regearing told me to talk to David at Texas Auto Gear. After getting myself ready for the project and talking with David we got the gears swapped from 4.10 to 4.88, both Dana gearing. The driving I have done with it so far is a day and night difference. Love to hate to say this but it rides better than factory. Not sure if jeep was playing on the high or low side of the tolerances, but the gentlemen at Texas Auto Gear have this thing running smooth as butter. Couldn’t be happier with the knowledge, the information provided to me, and the friendliness that there was there. I would definitely recommend these fellas for anyone’s future projects. When I first called, I spoke with Stephan, who was fantastic, quick with an estimate and great about keeping me updated. What I especially appreciated was that after our initial call, he followed up by text, which made communication so much easier.
He connected me with Franklin, who invited me to come in much sooner than expected; the same day at 11:30 AM. Franklin gave me a very fair price, completed the work quickly, and was just very easy to work with overall.

“I just had the hybrid battery on my 2013 Lexus ES300H replaced by Hometown Hybrids. I live near Houston and John came out to my house to do the battery swap. He let me know around what time he'd be coming, and then texted when he was on his way to give an exact ETA. Upon arriving he explained what he was going to do and then got to work...it took him less than an hour start to finish. He replaced my old dying battery with a new Toyota OEM replacement that cost me $3,400 (I believe a refurbished battery would have cost me $2,600, but as I'd like to get another 12 years out of my car, I feel the extra money was more than worth it.) FYI - Toyota wanted $8,000 to replace the battery, so $3,400 seems like a real bargain. Hopefully I won't ever have to, but I'd definitely use these guys again and will happily recommend them to anyone who'll listen. Thanks again, John!”
