Gardens of the Ancients is a remarkable nursery and apothecary with the largest and most incredible selection of herbs, plants, and wellness products. They specialize in live culinary herbs, ornamental plants, and fruit trees, all nurtured sustainably and without pesticides. They always have what customers are looking for, no matter how random, and also offer unique items like dried herbs through their online shop. This family business, started by the owner's father, is carried on with wonderful dedication. The owner is spot on, very courteous, quick to respond, and extremely knowledgeable, having been raised with the wisdom and skills of running the apothecary and herbal healing. The folks that run the shop are super nice, happy to help, and provide that homegrown quality. They deliver locally and are highly recommended as a local mom and pop operation.
While I haven’t been to the new location, I’m glad to find out that there is a location after they closed down the one off of parmer. Everyone that worked there was so sweet, the Koi pond was my favorite part, and I really hope that everyone is still doing amazing there 💗

I miss Garden of the Ancients the most out of all of the places I don't get to visit anymore since moving away from Austin. They always had what I was looking for, no matter how random, and they're always super nice and happy to help out.
