The Lonestar team was very professional, and constant communication.i thought it was going to be a 3 day job but the knocked it out in a day and half. The turf looks great and the pups are loving it. “This is my go-to place to unwind and walk among beautiful plants. They have a large area for indoor plants, a large outdoor plant area for trees, bushes, shrubs, cactus, succulents and flowers. They will help you create pots and help carry dirt or pots and plants to your car. They have a nice little shop with gifts and gardening items that I love to browse in. They have a pet giant tortoise to say hello too as well as some parrots. A gem in Westlake Hills!”
“One of my favorite places in all of Austin. I work at the preschool across the street and I love going to the Natural Gardner whenever I can! It’s not just a place to buy plants. It has beautiful spots to sit down and enjoy their magical landscaping. My favorite time to go is in the spring, when their rose garden and bluebonnets are in full bloom. They also have a butterfly garden which I love to visit during the summer months.”

“As a landscape architect it is hard not to be able to touch/see/experience large pot(s) for clients. My client wanted the only purple planters we could find for a deck and we had so much trouble getting a wide enough mouth on a pot for the entry. We could not be more pleased with all the help,communications, dedication, and joy that all the employees from the Austin location bring. You are safe to order from afar as they will fend for you, fill the holes, and wrap them spectacularly for shipment. We could not be more pleased and would use them again many times over!! “My husband and I were looking for a few trees, but couldnt get anyone at other nurseys to really help us. Then we spent an afternoon at Hope Valley and got more support than we could have imagined. The owner Steve took us, and our three small children, around the farm and took time to teach us about all the different types of beautiful trees he grows.
We left having picked out three trees that we had never heard of. Trees we wouldn't have ever heard of without Hope Valley.
Never will we buy a tree from anywhere else!”

The staff are polite and generous with a chat, or heavy lifting (I need that now!) Great Outdoors is welcoming to families, and dogs on leashes. Austin owned, Austin people with jobs, so I go there and not a box store.”

“If you're a local home owner, this is your place for landscaping supplies. Get to know the people here, and they will treat you so well. They give me contractor pricing even though I'm not a contractor, as I've been completely re-do'ing my front and back yards. All the irrigation supplies I need, stone, etc. They are just so accommodating. Others should take note, as this is how customer service should be done. The lady up front is an absolute gem. And while I might not always know exactly what I need going there, they are so incredibly helpful in getting me to the best products to fit my needs. I hope that they can maintain this quality of service for years to come.”
“Service was great. They had my frame and it is of very high quality. The lenses were made perfect and only took 6 days. Pick up was courteous and they adjusted the nose piece. Then they adjusted the fit on my ears. I have never had a better experience. The best thing is they were honest with me.”

“This looks like a small shop, but they have so much! BIG trees are available. All kinds soil mixes are sold, both in wholesale amounts, and even retail. Their mulch is made on-site, so there is no middle man. In fact, I believe that everything is packaged on- site. They have a complex of over a thousand acres, so it's deceiving when you see the small shop. Plus, this place has been in business since the 1970's, and is family owned.”

“This is a wholesale nursery for contractors only & it’s very clearly stated in the parking lot before anyone enters. I have used them for 5+ years and without question if you run a business that uses plants this place will save you money with all the same options any other nursery has. The only issue I ever had here was fixed with no hesitation by the owner. All the guys in the yard are eager to help / get you loaded and Ty or Lynn have always answered the phone to give me pricing no matter how often I call & the other lady in there is just as helpful when she’s had to be. Highly recommend & appreciate this business to business model they have, it saves me and my clients money while making us all some.”

“We needed a part for our snowblower. The diagrams are exceptional as I was able to project them onto our large TV. We ordered the incorrect part the first time and had to send it back. That was no problem and my refund was immediate when they received it. We ordered the correct part and it's perfect. The snowblower is back in business!”
“I've been to this home depot a few times, especially for gardening tools and buying plants and soil for my backyard. It's as any Home Depot should be, with a wide range of selection and is well maintained. However the location can make it stressful due to the construction around the entrance and the heavy traffic. I also would prefer they had a better selection of perennial plants. For instance, they only had Spanish lavender rather than the tougher, longer lasting phenomenal lavender which would be more appropriate for Austin's climate. So if you're looking for a better variety of plants I would recommend visiting a local nursery. For home improvements this Home depot does the job. Staff was for the most part very helpful except for one employee who even refused to check in the system if they had the plant I was looking for in stock. I would also recommend they carry expanded shale for the clay soil here in Austin.”

The owner is spot on. Very courteous, quick to respond , and extremely knowledgeable. His father started the business, and Nate was raised with the wisdom and skills of running the apothecary and with herbal healing abilities. FIVE STARS times infinity for this shop.
