“Fantastic spot that's a true love letter to everything we loved growing up. Deanna, our host and receptionist, was amazing as well. She made us feel so welcome and checked in on us several times as we explored for a couple hours. Cannot recommend a visit enough!”
“Friends & Fidos visit Buda and Proof Deli came through with magnificent sandwiches on Good Friday! The hot Reuben was fabulous, the Dali Lama was so delicious especially on Good Friday (!) and the Smoking Bird was out of this world. The doggies were treated to water and felt especially welcomed; the weather made the event quite memorable!”

“For a cigar rookie, and only the second time having a cigar, I enjoyed it very much. Super nice staff super and nice customers all helping me out and enjoying the space. I did make a few mistakes that would’ve made my time there longer and better but that’s on me being a rookie. I was unaware that you had to hydrate a lot and eat a good meal before having a cigar, so when the bold cigar nicotine hit me. I was out of my element, but they were super nice and to help me feel better. I assumed because I enjoy high proof, whiskeys, and scotches. It would be the same for a cigar, and that cigar put me in my place at about halfway through. But damn it was delicious, nice pepper spice like a rye whiskey until I started feeling.
Awesome place I will definitely be back with the knowledge that I learned from them. I might even invest in a small cigar box thing to keep tucked away in the whiskey cabinet.

“Love the snack and drink selection here! I finally tried their Indian food. I got the kofta korma w lamb and it's VERY GOOD. I don't love that it's so much rice and not as much of the korma but most places do that. Wish they were a bit friendlier but whatever, not the biggest deal. YUM”

He said one package needed re wrapping so jokingly said I owe him a soda. I happened to have ice chilled DR Pepper on hand if he liked so so I obliged lol Both Ben in Dallas and Austin are amazing. Update: had another load. My info said today at 0600. Ricky said I wasn't on the list and asked if I'm in a hurry. I responded yes gotta be gavensten in 5 hrs to pu some shrimp. He stopped his other work and got my 6 pallets off on 5 minutes. This guy is absolutely amazing.”

“I had something happen to me that has never happened to me before, and that was that I bought a bottle of whisky without fully inspecting it and when I got home, I noticed that the seal was broken. When I called and explained my situation, they gladly replaced the bottle! I was really worried I would be screwed. Great service!”

“They had the tequila i was after, and prices were cheaper than at spec's or Jacob's liquor right down Menchaca, but they didnt have the Miles gin I was after. Easy to find, and ample parking, as the place never seems busy. 10/10 for friendly staff”
