“Wonderful Venue and Team! My husband and I got married at The Hummingbird House in November of 2023. Our wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for! We toured the place with the owner Danny and he was so kind and personable. When we booked the venue we got their planning package and I cannot recommend it enough. We feel so lucky to have had Kelsey help us plan our wedding! She was incredible! I had attended very few weddings and felt very intimidated by planning one myslef. She answered all our questions and gave great suggestions. Kelsey was also super sweet! I was sad to say good bye to her at the end of our wedding! I really cannot imagine our day with her help. My husband and I felt that Kelsey and Danny both truly cared we had a memorable wedding day and were happy for us. On our actual wedding day it rained all day. Kelsey was so sweet and worked so hard to help keep the plan that we had agreed on. Thankfully it stopped raining right before we went to plan B! Our wedding was beautiful and we will always cherish it. I cannot thank the Hummingbird House enough for helping us have a beautiful start to our marriage!”

“I don't know man. Maybe it's the vibe of old school cantina or hanging out with fellow vets that keep me coming back. Or perhaps it's having some of the coldest beer I've ever had. Hell, i dodnt know i loved Lone Star Light that much until i started drinking it here. Funny thing, i dont drink Lone Star Light anywhere else - why? The many places I've tried can never get it as cold as here and it never tastes the same.

The place is no frills and there's an assortment of chips for purchase. You can bring in food if you'd like. Sometimes, on weekends, especially during football season, one of the patrons may bring in eats to share during the games.

With or without food, this low key, diver VFW is king.”

“Im not sure if this space is still open. I’ve tried contacting the phone but receive no response. The last few reviews are from at least two years ago. It’s a shame, seems like such a cool space.”
