“Pepper really heated things up for us!! ? Highly recommend booking a private party— us ladies had a great time learning how to pole dance to booty blasting jams and the encouragement of our instructor Abby AKA Pepper ?️! She brought enthusiasm and energy to our experience and we all had an easy time letting our guard down because of it! What a FUN WORKOUT!”

“Was greeted as soon as we entered the door, even though its was busy at the time. Everyone was so pleasant and informative. The person who mainly helped us I believe her name was Natasha, she was so enthusiastic and had some great recommendations. Affordable and overall great experience, they also have Easy Tiger bread which was a nice bonus. Will for sure return and explore more options.”

“I went on a boat cruise during Sxsw. Some promotion party for Bose, they had really good DJs, with food and drinks included. My boat ride was free, and has been one of the best experiences I’ve had on the lake. We went at night, so it was dark and cold, but the good music kept us dancing, and having a great time. I’m definitely recommending this if you’re out of town and it’s cold but you still want to experience town lake in Austin.”

“Nestled in the heart of Austin's bustling craft beer scene, Nomadic Beerworks stands out as a beacon of creativity and quality. Boasting a beer list that reads like a love letter, albeit a short one, to beer enthusiasts everywhere, Nomadic offers something for every palate, from the puckering tartness of sours to the deep, rich complexities of Belgian quads. Each brew is a testament to the skill and passion of the brewers, showcasing a commitment to excellence that sets Nomadic apart from the crowd. But it's not just about the beer at Nomadic Beerworks – it's about the experience. Stepping into this brewery is like entering a hoppy wonderland, where the air is filled with the tantalizing aromas of malt and yeast. And while the outside seating, which overlooks the parking lot and the sketchy activities at the U-Haul lot across the street, may lack the trendy ambiance of some of its counterparts, the real magic happens inside, where the true spirit of craft beer culture thrives. In a world where breweries often cater to the masses, bad parents and their untethered hordes of ill behaved offspring, Nomadic Beerworks dares to be different and focus on the beer… and the adults who drink it. With its exceptional beer selection, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to quality, it's a shining example of what craft beer should be. Cheers to Nomadic Beerworks – may your taps never run dry!”

“I like this place a lot! It's a classic video arcade place with a ton of the classic games/pinball machines that early 80's kids played (and there are quite a few of the more modern ones, too.). Considering that these games are of an older generation, I've never seen a ton of "kids" there, so that can be a plus sometimes.A small snack and drink selection is available.”

“I'm giving the Lone Star Court a "4" rating based on top caliber bar staff who are friendly, quick, knowledgeable and very cool. I live in the neighborhood and love stopping by. Live music several nights a week is a big plus, and the artists really good. everything is ATX here except the food, which is awful. tacos are cubed meat covered in slaw, dry and with zero taste. Cups of barbecue sauce and ketchup help, but the cardboard-like taco makes even the souped up chunks hard to find, chew and swallow. Egg rolls are much better, however! the chicken fried steak is possibly the worst I've ever eaten. Nonetheless, bar staff, music and decor pull this place through to a 4-.”

“This place was warm and welcoming, very cute and dim for a relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent. Our table was birthday decorated and they offered a birthday desert. Our server, Matt, was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The food, I have mixed feelings about. The fish was very fresh and well cooked. We got the Chilean sea bass and almond crusted trout. The crab cake was absolutely delicious. So they have the fresh seafood bit down. Everything else was underwhelming. The mushroom risotto was kind of just salty mush, the mashed potatoes were stiff and the fried rice was good. It wasn’t terribly expensive for what it was, so I was not disappointed at all. Overall it was a good experience.”

“January 2023:Another visit and noticed a few new items on display and the 'Sharks' exhibition which was very informative with lots of interactive displays. The gift shop also had some new merchandise and new movies at the IMAX theater. There was some new membership changes where the most significant is the parking vouchers now expire a year from receiving them. If you have any old Red ones then they will swap them out with new ones. I believe the Blue ones are still good. Another change is the vouchers are now used for 50% off member game day parking for Texas Longhorn home football games where used to be free. The Star Cafe was open and had lunch there. The staff was very friendly and the food was good.August 2023:Enjoyed the 'The Harmon and Harriet Kelley Collection of African American Art: Works on Paper' exhibit by seeing some great works of art.January 2023:A must place to visit if you are visiting Austin or a local. They have permanent and touring exhibits plus an IMAX theater. The Hilos de Tradición: Dresses of Mexico and Art of Texas State Parks temporary exhibits were nice to see. The Republic of Texas Mall is now open which is really nice where the street is gone and now a big green space all the way to the Texas State Capital.”

“Best spot for a casual weekend drink with some friends. Very Austin - vibes with the outdoor pool. Recommend the margaritas and spritz's. The espresso martinis are mostly Baileys”

“In Austin, was feeling some fancy cocktails and snacks one night. Decided to come to the RR and definitely happy we did. No reservation meant we had to sit in the upstairs bar, where the cocktail list is a bit smaller (though still significant). There was a bachelorette party when we went and it was very Texy, but overall the spot was dark, classy, diverse, with foreign films being silently screened on the wall. I love the bar's aesthetic--hip and classy but casual--and the extensive cocktail list includes a number of historical drinks through the ages as well as house creations. I opted for the Roosevelt Room Old Fashioned, which, with its branded ice cube, was a beautiful presentation. One of my companions opted for a dirty vodka martini; the other for the Cigar Box, which wins pretty much all cocktail presentation forevermore. All drinks were incredibly tasty, and the service was spectacular as well. Because we came for snacks, too, we...well, we went a little crazy. The sumac and pepper popcorn was my favorite. Perfectly popped with enough flavor to keep me coming back for more. I love popcorn. We also ordered the sweet & spicy nuts, which were, unsurprisingly, delicious. The seasonal pickle plate was another winner for me. If you pickle it, I will eat it. More traditional pickled veg (think sweet peppers, beets, etc) plated up next to pickled strawberries and blackberries--genius. Loved this as well. We also ordered the potato pancakes, which were good, but not my favorite dish here. Lastly, we got the salade verte, which I really enjoyed--but a word to the wise: the shallot in this sucker is going to make your breath horrible. All in all, this was a great spot to experience. If I lived in Austin, I don't think I would come by often, but it's definitely a great locale for when you're feeling fancy drinks in a fun, casually classy environment.”

“We love E 6th in general, but this has to be the best addition in a long time! It has an awesome view and good cocktails (strong), my only complaint is too much garnish and I don’t love the plastic cups. It can get VERY crowded so I definitely recommend going earlier in the evening or during the week. It has an exclusive speakeasy vibe which makes it feel really cozy. Perfect spot for pictures, enjoying the sunset, or taking out of towners for the city views.”

“I love this place and I'm so thankful that a place like this exists for adults. I've taken the tumbling, handstand and parkour classes but my go-to class is trampoline (which includes their trampwall). The vibe is super laid back and friendly. I've also had many great instructors - Roy, Dmitri and Eric to name a few. If you're worried about age then let that go - I will be turning 45 and just recently learned to backflip on the trampoline.”

“Excellent hotel with excellent breakfast. Christina at reception was absolutely a gem. Her enthusiasm and kindness was exactly what you want when you check in. She even wished me well in a presentation I had to give. I have never felt so well cared for as a customer. I wish everyone e was like Christina at hotel check in. She really wanted me to enjoy all the amenities. That felt great. I can’t say enough great things about her.”

“I am so glad we chose this venue! Truly the best day of my life. We haven’t gotten many pictures back, as we just got married, but I had to come on here and rave about how wonderful everything is at Chapel Lodge. I love that you have an option to rent out and stay at the venue, my dad and mom’s family stayed at the lodge and cabin, it was so convenient and accommodating to all of their needs! Jaycie is a sales rep at the venue, we loved her from the very beginning, she’s one of the reasons we chose this venue! We actually hired her as our planner too, again another wonderful decision! The whole day was seriously perfect! She went above and beyond and we cannot thank her enough for all she did for us! The venue is so beautiful it really doesn’t need a whole lot of flowers etc in my opinion; we had about 400 candles and it was so romantic! There are so many different spaces to utilize, if you haven’t been out here I highly recommend you get out there and check it out! If you’re looking to have the perfect wedding/party/stay etc.. look no further!Ps if you are looking at any of the previous reviews about food or bar, chapel lodge is only a venue, whoever hosted the party hired those people so this venue should not be to blame if you were not satisfied.”

“We had our wedding at Rambling Rose Ranch in October 2023. I believe it was the second venue we visited, and I immediately knew it was "the one." The venue is beautiful. The dance floor surrounded by all the greenery and the window panes left me in awe. It was a beautiful spot for our first dance, and the surrounding area for games. One one side of the dance floor was this rustic bar area with three cocktail tables - one we used for our fake tattoo station. The "arena" is the covered area with a huge space large enough for all the tables, catering, a spot for the DJ, AND dancing (which we had to move under because it started to rain a bit). The steps with the gorgeous tiles leading up to the ceremony site from the dance floor are beautiful, and the ceremony site with the benches and the huge tree to get married under. We placed many pillows on the benches for our guests to use in case they found the benched uncomfortable, but there were no complaints about them. The fire pit, while we didn't use it, had extra seating not too far away from the dance floor, but far enough for anyone who wished for a "quieter" spot. Which also happened to be next to the animals. They were a HUGE plus, and a hit among our guests as they were able to feed them apples and carrots. The groom suite and the bridal suite are beautifully decorated as well. Spacious and hidden away just enough that you can see your guests walking to the ceremony site, but they can't see you if you are wandering around. We had a private cake cutting in the bridal suite after we ate our dinner with our guests.Working with Sandy and Morgan was easy during a time that is usually pretty stressful. They answered my many questions, and gave us several recommendations. We felt welcomed and wanted. When I made mistakes from reading our contract wrong, they were gracious and never treated me poorly. From the day we first reached out to even now after our wedding they have been great with communication. We highly recommend this venue!”

“Fabulously prestigious atmosphere and decor, practically non-existent parking. Dance floors are great, but it's only A/C, no fans for air movement. You will have a blast, but arrive early.”

“How do I know manifestation works? Because I was walking (pretending I was on a beach) and discovered Cosmic opened on the east side. Jesus walks! This location is such a chill creative vibe. Great for singles, families, dogs, and weirdos! And the service? Well, honey- as Paris Hilton says, "Don't let anyone treat you like you're a yellow starburst. You're a pink starburst." Mackenzie is the absolute best! Mackenzie for President. Head over to this location today. Tip well and get involved with their delicious coffee, tantalizing, margaritas, and my favorite -the Boozy Coffee! They also serve Cosmic Tacos! What???? I'm so excited about this location, I could twerk.”

“As an independent contracted event staff worker, I have been here over 50 times and it’s such a great venue. It’s SO clean. There’s plenty of bathrooms, it’s huge, the green room is nice and air conditioned and aesthetically pleasing. I think it’s a great place for practically any event.”

“I love great customer service. Everyone was so friendly. I really appreciate the front desk manager. He offered a personal postage stamp so I could send my post card to my loved one. I just find that going above and beyond for your guest, few and far between. Very enjoyable experience for our first trip to Austin.”

“I think the Center itself is fine. But parking was difficult, especially with one way in and one way out of the venue. The event (Austin Marathon packet pickup) was cramped, and poorly laid out - over all a pretty frustrating experience compared to other races”

“In 2018 we held a surprise b-day celebration for my wife. That was the first time I/we met the owner, Shari. The b-day event was 10 out of 10. Everything was done so well! The food. The Staff. The beautiful location. The simplicity of communication. So much so that we have made sure to not only recommend it to others but, we have attended several other events at Anderson Terrace. The experience is always the same. They always go above and beyond to ensure the experience is top notch!!Highly recommend!”

“Brentwood is so cool to host a Community Fridge there outside. Mutual Aid. Give Food. Take Food. Help your community. AwesomeAnd Brentwood is a fantastic coffeehouse with delicious treats and beverages- i did a iced hibiscus with vanilla and it’s amazing!Dietary restrictions: I don’t remember but the treats were specialized. Like keto cookie. Or gluten free bread. I’m not sure what we got but it was delicious.Parking: There is a spot for quick pickup or delivery and depending when you go there is a lot of parking with some difficulty in getting out.”
