“This small shop offers a large variety of excellent cheeses, with a patient, knowledgeable staff. I spent about $80 and was surprised by the tip suggestions on the payment machine. I am appreciative of the advice but would rather pay more for the product than be asked to subsidize wages.”

“Last night’s Sacral Chakra Workshop was such a beautiful experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell how much intention had gone into every detail. The space felt thoughtfully curated—equal parts sensual, safe, and deeply cozy. It created the perfect environment to soften, open, and be present.
The entire ceremony was intentional and activating from beginning to end. Every element flowed together so naturally, making it easy to surrender to the experience and trust the process.
What impacted me most was the sacred container that was created for the group. I felt genuinely held, supported, and invited into deeper healing and activation. That kind of space is rare, and it was so beautifully facilitated.
I left feeling expanded, grateful, and deeply nourished. Thank you for sharing your gifts and creating such a powerful experience. I can’t wait to attend another offering!”
“This location is perfect and close to everything - it also has the restaurant, coffee shop, and rooftop bar so everything is accessible.
We also loved taking out the bikes and riding all around the lake thanks to Juan’s suggestion (who happen to be super informative, helpful and generous).
We’ll definitely be back!”

“I didn’t stay at the Westin, but I did go to the cocktail lounge inside. On our way out, the gentleman working valet accompanied us to our uber and double checked the drive and license plate for us. I was with two other women. It was such a small, but comforting gesture that we all acknowledged amongst ourselves and very much appreciated!! It was on 02/07 around 9:45! Want to make sure this gentleman gets his recognition!!”
“Attended a large event in the same facility and every part was quite nice. The restaurants, shops, bars, rooms, even elevators all were excellent. We'll be back.”
“Captain Alec was awesome, and we had a great time on the water. We even saw some bats in early December, which was rare. He was determined to ensure we saw them, and as my first boat tour here since I moved to Austin a year ago, I really enjoy this ride!”
“A beautiful venue that is nestled in North Austin. The staff is very professional and super friendly. The food was delicious. Drinks were cold and the price was extremely affordable. I would recommend this venue to my best friends.”
“Absolutely phenomenal experience. I’m so glad that we decided to host our event here. We will be sure to encourage other people to have their year end awards banquet here for their athletic teams.”
“Absolutely LOVED the experience. My husband is a huge movie buff, he has knowledge on the producer, director, budget, location and especially composers. One of his favorites is Hans Zimmer, so when I saw they offered a quartet of Hans Zimmer composures, I jumped on it! It was beautiful, the Mansion is a perfect place to host it. It was a great date night, different from the normal dinner and movie. It’s not as expensive as you’d think. We’ll be coming back for other shows!”
“As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of celebrating weddings in remarkable venues around the world. What makes The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge so memorable is the feeling of discovering a peaceful countryside retreat just moments from the energy of Austin.
From the moment guests enter the property, the pace seems to change. Surrounded by fields of wildflowers, majestic Texas live oaks, rolling greenery, and a charming vineyard, the estate creates an atmosphere that feels wonderfully removed from everyday life. It is difficult to believe that such a tranquil setting exists so close to the city.
As someone who spends a great deal of time observing how a venue shapes a wedding experience, I appreciated the way Chappel Lodge blends natural beauty with thoughtful hospitality. The stone architecture, spacious grounds, vineyard views, and carefully designed event spaces work together to create a setting that feels elegant, welcoming, and authentically Texan. Rather than relying on trends, the venue draws its beauty from the landscape itself.
What I remember most was the sense of serenity. Whether guests were gathering beneath the live oaks, strolling through the property, or enjoying the celebration beneath the beautifully lit reception tent, there was a feeling that everyone had stepped away from the distractions of daily life and into a place designed for connection and celebration.
One of the venue's greatest strengths is the ability to transform a wedding day into a full wedding weekend. With on-site lodging, gathering spaces, and expansive grounds, family and friends can spend meaningful time together before and after the ceremony. By the time the wedding begins, guests already feel connected not only to the couple but to one another.
The staff was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with throughout the celebration. Their experience hosting events on the property helped ensure that every detail unfolded smoothly while allowing the couple and their guests to remain fully present in the moment.
I would gladly recommend The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge to any couple looking for a wedding venue that combines vineyard charm, natural beauty, and exceptional hospitality. It is one of those rare places where guests feel as though they have traveled far away, even though they are only minutes from Austin. That sense of escape, combined with the warmth of the property and its people, creates an experience that lingers long after the celebration has ended.”
“Parking was easy to find but hard to get into during the all day event. There is an alternate entrance on Riverside. Google takes to the on Barton Creek so everyo e goes there.”
“Celebrated a friend's birthday as a group. We had a lovely time.
One of the coin pushers kept breaking that the staff helped us out. And they even reorganized the cards when I was really frustrated that they were all in the corners and wouldn't drop.
Definitely recommend.”
“Getting married at Allan House was an absolute dream. Juliana and Alex are communicative and so great to work with. The house is beautiful and so well kept, plus the location simply can’t be beat!”

“Two people made the stay memorable. Rachel on the 35th floor helped us out a lot and Berk one of the bell hops was so amazing. A wonderful stay overall! But while construction is going on don’t stay on the convention center side. They start banging around 6:30am. The South side was quiet even with traffic from the highway.”
“Sky Lounge on Lady Bird at RiverSouth is hands down one of the most breathtaking event venues I have ever had the pleasure of visiting in Austin. The panoramic views over Lady Bird Lake create an absolutely stunning backdrop that makes any event feel truly special and unforgettable. The space itself is beautifully designed with a modern and upscale feel that impresses guests from the moment they walk in. The team behind the venue is professional attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure that every detail is perfectly taken care of. Whether you are planning a corporate event a wedding or a private celebration this place will exceed every expectation you have.”
“Beautiful, historic hotel with amazing food and even better staff members. After an issue with the AC in one room, the lady at front desk immediately came up and upgraded us to an even better room straight away. Later that evening, the bartender at The Parlor Bar went well above and beyond for us. Great experience overall!”
“The Bullock Texas State History Museum is an outstanding place to truly understand the story of Texas. The exhibits are well organized, interactive, and filled with fascinating artifacts that bring history to life. Each floor walks you through a different era, making it easy and enjoyable to learn without feeling overwhelming.
The museum is clean, modern, and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the IMAX theater adds an extra layer of experience, especially for first-time visitors. Located right near the Texas State Capitol, it’s a perfect stop for locals, tourists, families, and students alike. A must-visit attraction in Austin for anyone interested in culture and history.”
“Love this venue, very intimate not a bad seat in the building. Even the worse balcony seats which I have gotten before are right on the artist. I felt like I could pass a football to the artist on stage anywhere in the seating area.”
“best venue ever had a very positive experience with the Austin chicken wing festival being hosted here and having success with the event as a volunteer and participant
so we set up in the venue that has the covered canopy which was more than sufficient for the event with petting zoo for the kids and plenty of room for old venues vendors and chicken wing competitors with plenty of dining area and the weather was perfect cannot ask for more on this venue during this time but also sufficient for a separate restrooms for men and women with lots of napkins and washing stations that worked out magnificently
also the sound system worked out great with live music as well being able to coordinate and collaborate game together magnificently”
“Visited for the Banksy of Austin: Without Limits!!! Hands down it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend the premium tickets. You can easily spend multiple hours just admiring the art. Every was very kind and super helpful. Definitely recommend this experience if you live street art, Banksy, or art with meaning or commentary on society!!”
“I poped in my headphones and listened to cello music while i looked at the sculptures.
It was a great experience to feel as every one of the faces had an emotion a feeling to share.”
“My friends and I did a private party with Coach Jo and it was amazing. The energy, vibe, attention to details and service was everything. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Coach Jo made everyone feel comfortable. I’m definitely interested in doing individual and a group event soon.”
“Our stay at Archer Hotel Austin was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and perfectly located—making it both comfortable and convenient. Every interaction with staff felt thoughtful and professional, which truly elevated the experience.
A special shout-out goes to Melody R. in valet, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Melody was consistently friendly, attentive, and efficient, greeting us with a warm smile each time and making the valet experience seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism and positive attitude made a lasting impression and reflected the high level of service Archer Hotel provides.
Overall, Archer Hotel Austin exceeded our expectations. It’s clear the team takes pride in creating a welcoming, guest-centered experience, and Melody R. is a true asset to the hotel. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others.”
“My friends and I always have a great time at Duke's. The prices are reasonable. The course is fun and challenging. The scenery is inviting. The staff is friendly and conversational and there's a store right next door for snacks. Go out and enjoy a great time at Duke's”
“Had a great experience at Common Desk on 6th & Congress yesterday and wanted to share. The space is clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of alternative spaces to keep you from feeling like you're on top of others and has heaps of natural light to keep you focused. They have second monitors for those of us who need them, are dog-friendly, and have welcoming staff at the front desk/making coffee. Will definitely be back!”

“I was in town for the Austin International Half marathon and was just winging it on a hotel with no reservation. I chose the Holiday Inn due to it being close to the starting line of the race. Bri was the Front desk clerk and she was so sweet and informative. She was so personable even giving me restaurant suggestions and smiled through all my questions and running stories. The hotel was beautiful and so clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've had at a hotel. Such a pleasant stay and will be my go to hotel when I make it to Austin. ❤️”
“Nice change of pace from typical hotels. Felt like a laid back camping party with live music, fire pits, complimentary smores and beverages. Great family spot. If you’re looking for a quiet hotel, this is not the one. However, I was surprised by how the rooms block out most of the outdoor noise. The service was outstanding, which is the primary reason I’m leaving this review. Mo made our stay exceptional. He was courteous and intuitive—offering us what we needed before we even had to request anything. Mo made this a five-star weekend.”
“We held our wedding at Brodie Homestead in February 2026. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—the beautifully restored barn, complete with elegant chandeliers, created the perfect balance of rustic charm and timeless elegance. It made for such a warm, romantic atmosphere.
Beyond the setting, the experience was made even better by Alex, who was incredible to work with from start to finish. Alex was so helpful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day seamless and special. We truly felt supported throughout the entire process.
We cannot recommend Brodie Homestead more!”
“Excellent service! Shoutout to Dallas and Francisco. I had a meeting in the area and the both of them graciously valeted my classic car safely and kept good care of it, which is always a worry downtown. Dallas was especially helpful when picking the car up, and I could immediately tell he had passion for what he does. Should I be in the area I will be back again for sure.”
