“Austin and his team were excellent. We had a big project, changing countertops of kitchen and bathroom. First of all, Austin was flexible to accommodate our store visit meeting to beyond the store hours on Sat. That was the first step to make the project possible. The MTM crew was very efficient and skilled in demoing the old tops and installing the new tops. The part that didn't go as planned was the installation of backsplash, which was a complicated Herringbone pattern. The installation did not reflect the quality of the work that MTM provides. Austin heard the feedback and inspected the work afterwards. They agreed that it was poor quality work and offered to reinstall it again, while covering the cost of the new material. I gathered the material and they hired a very skilled tile specialist to do the job right. I cannot be happier with their professionalism, quality of work, and willingness to hear feedback and correct the course. I highly recommend MTM and look forward to hiring them again in the future!”

“I normally have no issues and love shopping here, but I had a hard time the other day with the price of a countertop being mismarked. I had to walk back through the warehouse to take a picture of the price tag because the floor employee only explained to the cashier over the radio that it was the wrong item, and there was no offer to honor the price as marked (as I have had happen at other stores). I ended up getting a different color that was the correct price. I also asked a few people for help with the process of getting furniture that was not available in the self-service area, and I got wrong or incomplete information from people I talked to. It just seems that maybe people need more training to be able to answer questions correctly. It took extra time and trouble, but eventually I got out of there with what I needed. This was my first difficult experience with this IKEA. I’ll still go back, but I’ll be more careful to take pictures of any marked down items. I’m just glad my husband wasn’t with me or he would have been miserable ?”
