We stayed at the Hotel St George on the 23 and 24th and we were not impressed. The lobby , gift shop and elevators smelled like sewage which made our stay less than enjoyable, which made the overall experience uncomfortable. We expected better than this for what we paid for the rooms.

What a fantastic place! I've been to Marfa several times, but I finally got the opportunity to stay at this historical hotel. The pool is lovely, the service is exceptional (shoutout to Karla for taking care of my morning coffee addiction!), and the host is gracious and down to earth.
10/10, unparalleled!
Thank you for a wonderful two weeks. The bed was my greatest comfort after long days of devising in the theatre.

I was deciding between Hotel Saint George and Hotel Paisano and I’m so glad I chose Hotel St George! It’s clean, modern, fresh. Great location walking distance to galleries and restaurants (we enjoyed Margaret’s for dinner). But what makes it so special is the art! Amazing contemporary pieces in the hallways, lobby, in the rooms. I was walking around mesmerized by all the art, I even walked through all 4 floors just to see what the other floors had on display. Thanks for curating such a special spot ✨

I stayed here several times. This time for two nights. I wasn't feeling well and called for room service to the hotel restaurant. I was told that there wasn't room service and that the server wasn't allowed above the first floor. So I ordered takeout. I was told to go to the main hostess stand in 5 mins. 20 minutes later, I was delivered my food. I got upstairs and unpacked my $20 steak nachos. There was a container of nacho chips, a small Styrofoam container of steak, queso and a couple of small containers of sauces that i wasn't sure what to do with (some sort of barbecue and creamy meat sauce). There were no vegetables and it really felt like gas station chips with cheese sauce. For $20. For a 20 minute wait. It was worse than what I'd expected at a LaQuinta or Holiday Inn Express, and way more expensive. Super disappointing for how this hotel is marketed and priced.

We stayed in a beautiful room on 4th floor looking toward courthouse and beautiful sunsets. Our room was an oversized room very comfortable with delightful furnishings. Customer service at the front desk was exceptional.
Walkability: Located on the Main Street can walk most everywhere.

Didn’t stay here but had dinner here. Got the NY strip it was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing and super friendly. Def recommend you eat here.

If you want to treat yourself to a beautiful and luxurious place to stay for the weekend then you will definitely want to visit St.George. My revisit was just as great as the first time and I truly enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the comfortable beds. I only wish I could bring the whole experience back home with me and somehow decor my house exactly like HSG. The restaurant and bar are conveniently situated in the same building and that’s another reason why I chose and enjoyed about this place. I had a few at the bar and was treated like family by the bar staff. Thanks to the hotel staff for the hospitality and service they provided me and the veterans discount for my stay. 3/20/2024
