I usually always only leave reviews when I feel like the business does amazing, unfortunately that was not my experience here today. I have gone a hand full of times here with my littles (5 and 2) & they are usually pretty good but today was TERRIBLE.
The man that attended us cut my 5 year old bangs first and were extremely crooked he didn’t bother to check but I wanted to leave so I decided to let it go, my 2 year old was a little scared since she’s not used to a man cutting her bangs and he was EXTREMELY reckless when attempting to cut her hair. She was crying yes I admit that but he literally almost poked her eye and face with scissors 3-4 times. I had to put my hand and ask him to be careful he was SHAKING while cutting them and they were super bad. He then said I can’t cut anymore I’m going to poke her if I continue because she’s crying so I can’t finish. I then told him that , that place was supposed to be extra patient for the customers and he continues to say fine I’ll do it but If I poke her and I didn’t let him finish I grabbed my little and told him I wanted to pay. He charged me and I paid him in cash so I didn’t tip and he was just completely rude all around. I’ve had some good experiences there but today was not acceptable.

I recently took my 1-year-old to Au-Some Cuts for a haircut, and the experience was fantastic! The no-noise shaver made a huge difference, keeping him calm throughout most of the process. He only cried a little when he wanted to grab the scissors, but the staff handled it wonderfully.
While the haircut was a bit pricey, it was totally worth it for the stress-free experience and the excellent result. I highly recommend for anyone with children!

Do not let the male barber touch your sons hair. He doesn’t listen and does a terrible job. The women are amazing and end up fixing his bad haircuts. He is trash

I had visited other places and no matter how hard I tried, my son came out without a cut and shear.
Today finally! My son came out with a beautiful cut, even though he was restless. Mr. Erick made his cut possible, very helpful and fast.
We will definitely return and recommend the place ✅

Erick was so patient and understanding when I took my nonverbal 6 year old for a hair cut. My son fought tooth and nail to not get his hair cut but Erick was so patient with him and was able to actually give him a hair cut. I’ve visited other places for hair cuts and my son gets turned away because he won’t let them do a cut. That was not the case at Au-Some Cuts or with Erick. Thank you for being understanding!

This is the place to go for kids haircuts. My son who is autistic had his haircut here with Sandra. She was so sweet with him and made my son and I feel so welcomed and comfortable. I will definitely be returning back she did a great job with his haircut. ??

The best experience ever, we were so happy with our visit it took less than 10 min and it was the first time our kid actually let himself get a hair cut we are definetly going back and we are doing it at least 2 times a month so that he can get use to it an start liking to go get a hair cut, ps I really recommend letting your child play for a little aftee thwir hair cut, so that they can learn that after the heir cut its playing time

They don’t know how to cut hair I asked for a comb over on my sons hair by the time I know it they gave him a buzz cut lady tried to says the spots of patches of hair where there worst place ever !
