It's like an old hardware store mixed with some home decor items. Dusty, but I found a few jewels among the items available.

My husband is a Navy veteran and I went to the store in mcallen Texas this guy that works there said yes habitat for humanity helps veterans ok so I was overjoyed like for a second but he said we just don't help veterans that live in a mobile home my response was so you don't help veterans a veteran still lives in that house regardless what kind of house . On another note all this items are donated they had old crusty paint in a rusty can selling for more expensive that the stores like Lowe's or home depot they should be ashamed but their NOT EVERYTHING IS SO OVER PRICED

I have been shopping at Habitat for many years. One was able to find good products at a great price. You could even haggle on the price and the staff would work with you on pricing. Unfortunately, management has changed and so have the prices which are well overpriced. You can't haggle on the price because their response will be "The price is tagged and we can't change the price". The only thing I can think of,is that management gave themselves a hefty salary raise and need to make up the difference by pricing items at a high price. Management, please read your store's reviews and change your pricing. I am confident that you will get more customers in and boost your sales.

Whoever runs this place needs to have a serious talk with whoever is doing the pricing. Things are double what they cost new. Candle holders from dollar tree were priced at 4.50. Five dollars for used paperbacks. Don’t waste your time.

Nice store. Some items are over priced. Big selection of building products and furniture. Don't let the little store up front fool you. Go back into the warehouse.

I’ve come to this store for many years and prices used to be great and affordable I also travel across the country and habitat for humanity around the US is very affordable but lately who ever is running this has everything overpriced there’s things sitting there for the past three years or so with dust and same price this is not a storage unit your supposed to recycle items out the store for the people this organization is for lower income people to be able to do fixer uppers not for a 5% discount from original price for that I’ll just take my business and buy new and with guarantee I hope corporate gets a new person or the past person to run this place

Filthy, over stuffed, improperly stocked, and incredibly overpriced. When I asked about pricing, they said the same person has been pricing there for years. I read older reviews with the same complaint.
It is obvious that current staff have no idea what they are doing or what is expected. When I showed staff the price they were asking for a used item was the same as new in store they acted entitled, told me I did not need to buy anything. Could they fire management and reorganize this store? The back room with building supplies is a nightmare. The exterior is sunburnt and not properly maintained.

Who ever is running this business thinks he is running an antique store!!! Everything is over priced!! I wanted to donate some WD40 so they can spray the front door, but they will probably sell the rest for $9.99 “as is”!

I have been to Habitats all over the US. Prices are ridiculous for a Habitat at this location. You can tell items are just coming in and no one is buying. Everything is filthy. Most things I looked at were close to an original price. Be ashamed , this is a non profit that is trying to act like a retail store.

Horribly overpriced. Most things are cheaper at Home Depot. What a shame...
