We had our account set up for automatic payments, in fact I think it was required for the rate we got. Still they charged a $7.99 fee every month. I guess we should have really read the bills, watch out for things they slip in. Not recommended at all . No wonder they're in bankruptcy.

Once our contract expired they raised our rates by 60%. I get it power is more expensive now but there were better rated companies with lower rates and they weren't even willing to negotiate and all I was asking is they match the competition. I've always have been able to negotiate rates with providers in the past, this was the first company I've used that wasn't willing to even consider it.

I have been with Heritage Power for two years and never had an issue. Just have to read the energy facts label and understand what rate you are signing up for.

I had never heard of this company in my life. And now they have sent an account in my name to collections i have called and they haven't done anything to resolve it it's been two years and they haven't attempted to fix this they're not checking documents. Ice should investigate this company.

I would give zero stars if I could.I’ve had this company for almost 2 years and I tried to transfer my lights to my new apartment and they told me now “due to the market” they were not starting new services or transferring established services either. They gave me no further explanation. Won’t put my deposit towards my last bill so I just gave them a free $125 to do with whatever they want to. Now I have to scramble to figure out what I’m supposed to do for light. Natalie was the worst “supervisor” to deal with. Saying they can’t give me any further details like I was dealing with the CIA. DONT GET THIS COMPANY. They will screw you over completely out of the blue.

I switched to Heritage Power and have been so disappointed. Our family was away from our house for 1/3 of a month in June. We turned everything off and raised our thermostat by 8 degrees. Our electrical usage stayed the same. I asked that someone review the charges, and was told they were correct. It's just Not Possible. I've asked for reconsideration and all of a sudden my bills are going up and they added a $200 fee to my current bill- $666 and change. RUN AWAY! Don't sign up. No one listens and they charge whatever they want. Fraud. Abuse!!!

This review is long overdue. I'm extremely grateful for Heritage Power. I had a dear friend Ken Walker recommend this company and have had a solid experience over three years. For somebody who had worked for energy providers and is aware of the ins and outs of the business, it's good to see that they take care of what matters, customers. During the pandemic, Alice went above and beyond in ensuring great customer service with heart. Not all CSR's care in that manner I've had rude ones like Laura who care less about what they do. Yet either way, I trust Tim the owner to do the right thing. Thank you.

My mother and I were with them for over 2 years and just after renewing a contract, they sent us a bill in the amount of 275.00 saying it was a deposit required because we have paid late more than 3 times. It happened to my mother first and I thought she was joking. She ended up switching her service and I also had to do the same. How are you going to penalize your customers for taking advantage of the grace period you offer?! Not to mention, that we do pay a late fee along with the payment. I see they don't value the customers. They also waited after I renewed my contract to pull this mess! I was happy once upon a time with Heritage and used to proudly refer them. But I had to leave after this stunt!

Awful. Now charging me a $275 deposit because of late payment a year ago b/c autopay didnt go through. I have since been on auto pay without issue since but they want more money. I pay my bills. This is ridiculous. I will not use them again.

Very very unprofessional I don’t understand how you can come back two years later and charge a deposit because I had some past due bills but never ever been disconnected.?

They were okay at first ...but then they start charging with the disconnect notice and today I called and when I saw my bill I called and they told me that they will now require a 275.00 deposit because of me paying late.
