Found this place nearby, was in desperate need to get it fixed. Needed a ride and luckily they gave me a ride back to my house. With no transportation to get no where since it was my only vehicle, luckily it was just a minor fix. They gave me a ride back to their business the day after and left with no issues with my vehicle. This was 6 months ago and still works like a charm, thank you!

Took 2 work trucks and thet lied about both diagnostics, charged for one, supposedly they fixed it but drove right back with same issue the tech admitted to not even touch the truck. Got my refund and took both trucks else where

My car was overheating, and the check engine light came on, so I went online to look up mechanic shops and came across Lino’s Automatic Transmission Service. Upon reading the reviews, I called Hotshot Towing (outstanding towing service) and had my vehicle towed to Lino’s. I kept in touch with Albert, who gave me a very reasonable quote to repair my car. After a couple of days, Albert advised me that my car was ready to go. He reviewed the repairs and invoice with me and explained everything that was fixed on my vehicle. I can’t thank Albert enough for his outstanding and professional customer service! Lino’s is now my go-to mechanic shop, and I highly recommend this place to everyone! Thanks again, Albert!

Mejia Part 1
I was stranded out on Hwy 281 in the middle of no man's land. Transmission gave out. I am by far nowhere near being a transmission mechanic. AAA arranged for my tow into the closest GMC/Buick dealership which was in Edinburg, TX. The service person at the desk pretty much told me since I wasn't from there I was not going to get any attention until the locals got serviced first. His exact words were, "we have people from here that have been waiting for 2 weeks... we won't get to you for 3 weeks". Is this the attitude I'm going to be running into down here? Well, first of all I "was" born in the RGV. I live in Texas City, TX. The tow driver said take it to Lino's. He's the best around. By this time... I am exhausted and about ready to scream at the first stray dog that came walking by... I called Lino's... I explained my situation... Albert said, bring it in. I can't assess it until tomorrow... Well, he didn't call me the next day, he called me that "same" day and told me what the problem was, how much and how long it would take. I know they could tell I was stressed out when I first walked in. He said we'll get you back on the road as soon as we can. They got right on it... I said Ok boys... do your thing...so far, I'm feeling very confident. Stay tuned for "Mejia Part 2", the final outcome...

Having to leave my truck in an unknown area made me feel very uneasy to say the least... but I had to trust Lino and his crew. At first Albert was telling me it would be a week before he could have it back... by the time it was all said and done, Lino's crew had my truck ready in 1.5 days from the time they removed, rebuilt and replaced my transmission. I flew in Tuesday morning. By 3:30 that same afternoon I was getting a call from Albert saying my transmission has been installed, tested and is ready to be picked up... Wednesday morning I left McAllen and was heading to Texas City. I had "0" problems. It ran smoothly and transmission oil temperature stayed well within the given guidelines. I was just beside myself on how Lino's crew treated an out of towner with respect, dignity and compassion. they are number 1 in my books. Unlike the GMC dealer in Edinburg. All my possessions were right where I left them in my truck. I am so grateful to Lino's. For my check up on my transmission, I will make the trip to McAllen. I highly recommend Lino's to anybody.

We were in desperate need of a repair as we were stranded 1600 miles from home. Albert was awesome and patient every time i called to check on my van. Thank you for getting me back on the road to go home

The services I requested on this occasion was an 80,000 mile tune up, oil change, complete brake job and all fluid check and replace (if needed.) The quality was outstanding as always. The value is unbeatable that's why when you take in a vehicle there's really no place to put it. Albert Luna and his staff are amazing.
