My father purchased a chainsaw a month ago. And with the intention to make a sale, the sales rep explained that the warranty covered any malfunction from wear and tear. So he purchased a warranty plan for the chainsaw. Sure enough, he is having issues with one of the parts. When going into the store to inquire about it, he was told the warranty only covered an accident. And they were trying to charge him $60 just to check it, a diagnostic check.
I just read over the warranty and he bought the warranty that is suppose to cover any defects.
My father is a spanish speaking elderly man, and was taken advantage of.
Please take your business else where as this company will not honor the warranty they encourage you to buy and the employees fail to use proper verbiage when trying to sale.

I purchased $400.00 of products yesterday , I went online to register the warranty and found out that they offer a 10 percent discount for veterans. Why do I have to go to the website to learn about it.
I have purchased thousands of dollars in products in this store and never received anything. I will from now on do my and my ranches business elsewhere.

Just about had the worst experience ever with Northern tool. I purchased an item online on 2/16/25 only to wait till today 2/21/25 to get an email stating that they no longer have it available. So did they just run out and didn’t keep count? If so, that is extremely bad management of products and as a buyer they should honor the price of product and get me into a similar item. Nope! I called and the lady was very nice but not her or her manager were able to resolve this issue because their final solution was to take $15 off another item that was twice as expensive! So that didn’t help at all. Then the next recommendation was. Oh you can go to Amazon or tractor supply. Well! I guess I should have never even considered Northern tool!

I went in for a Online promotional deal on a air compressor. Steve helped me out by guiding me through the process. I called a few days later and they spoke to Lupe. Lupe offered great guidance how I could get the air compressor sooner rather than later. Since I really needed the tool.
When I arrived Lupe had left for the day, but Qwen took care of me in a very professional manner! He went beyond the call of duty! What a great experience and service!
Rial is a great Store Manager who leads his team!
