Last Monday I went up to San Antonio to visit my wife and kids, and I was supposed to come back on Tuesday at 3:30 and be back by 7:30 in time for work. However, for unknown reasons Valley Transit Company canceled the bus trip. So I was reissued a ticket for the 10:15 departure, which meant I was going to miss work. When I got back to the bus station I waited for the 10:15 departure, but the man behind the counter never called out the bus, so I missed the bus. He said that I had to pay $20 to change my ticket. Where was I supposed to get $20? I had no cash, all my money was on my debit card, and the banks were closed already, and they wouldn't accept debit card.I'm not from San Antonio, I'm from McAllen. He demonstrated an uncooperative unwillingness to be understanding and helpful, and he also argued with me that he did call out the bus, but I was sitting their waiting and listening and he never did, which means he lied and was dishonest. So my wife had to come back to the station a 3rd time and picked me up, and dropped me off again 2 hours later so I could take the 2:15 am bus back home. I had to pay $55 outright for a brand new ticket. I shouldn't have to pay money for something that isnt my fault. Valley Transit Company and Greyhound are very bad companies. They rob people of their money, and make people suffer for their mistakes. I will NEVER ride with either company ever again. Do not waste your time or money with these companies. Bad business.

Good luck getting in contact with anyone. Over a two week span I had submitted 4 separate contact forms with no response, finally tried calling the company and it just rang for anywhere from 2-5 minutes before it finally said nobody would come to the phone. Tried calling 7 separate times over the span of 2 hours. When I finally got someone to answer the phone they continually talked over me, would not let me ask the question I was attempting to ask, kept saying when the next bus was leaving (I was asking for rates, she gave none) and finally was told "Wait one second" and put on hold, after 10 minutes I hung up.
