“AHH! This place! I had my wedding on January 16th, 2026 and it was PERFECT. This venue was truly the venue of my dreams. Although it says ranch, it has a vintage homey vibe. I wanted somewhere that had decor and character so we did not have to worry about adding extra things. Avalon was perfect for this! The home is just that, a home! If you want an effortless and beautiful venue that speaks for itself, AND feels like a home, this place is perfect. Truly couldn't have found a better place for price, location, and the people here are incredible! So helpful! Take advantage of the couple of hours they give you to do your bridals here! Mine where SO dreamy and it was just me and my photographer! ALSO, they have a storage room with so many extra signs, candles, decor, and just things that you can use FOR FREE! This saved me so much stress and you can just put it back once your done. I cannot rave enough about this place!”
“I didn't get married here, but we did film a wedding themed game show and I was so impressed with the experience and lovely facility. Everyone (especially Vale) was super welcoming and helpful. This is a really wonderful place to hold any event and I can't say enough about how well we were treated from beginning to end. Thanks so much!”

“I went with a group of friends in December for a Christmas Tea. It was wonderful! The house has been beautifully restored and was decorated for the Christmas Holidays. The brunch was delicious, the service was excellent with the added bonus of some of the area’s Speciality Boutiques on site for Christmas shopping. The whole experience was great and I hope to go back again in the future.”
“Had a Family Reunion Event at the Heard Craig Center October 21, 2023. The Garden was perfect for outdoor games, table talking set ups, and family meals. Utilized the Carriage House as well for the kitchen use, layout tables for family photos, and the ease of a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. It all was the perfect venue for our reunion of 40. Thank you for wonderful, beautiful memories! We are all planning to meet there again next October!”
“We are so grateful that we were able to get married at the Cotton Mill! It is such a unique and beautiful space. We had already signed with them, when shortly after they changed over ownership/management to CN Catering and we couldn’t have been happier. They came in and immediately made upgrades to the outdoor ceremony space. They were so easy to work with the entirety of the process! Thank you Madison!! She was a great communicator and answered our endless questions. We were able to come by the venue several times with our different vendors. The day was gorgeous and people were so complementary of the ceremony site!
The only suggestion I would make would be to have the bar area outside cleaned up a little better. It was really dusty/dirty. Other than that, everything looked great and went smoothly! Thank you Cotton Mill!”
