“We had a Birthday Party here for family and friends. The group had an absolute blast! Tre and staff are terrific to work with. They are very professional to work with. We had cocktail hour (we provided the the alcohol- Tre's staff bartended), followed by cooking competition which everyone loved, and then a sit down dinner that Tre and staff prepared that was delicious. We decorated the venue too, brought in prizes and party favors, etc. Highly recommend this for parties!”

“I used this hall for my mums birthday. The facility is really spacious,
a lot of parking and the amenities were great. They were very flexible and threw in quite a lot of things like the Schaffer dishes and also we had help during the event from the staff to help serve guests. I was very happy about the service, would definite recommend them for your event.”

“Came in midday on a Thursday for a movie and grabbed some food beforehand.

It was slow, not really any other guests. Everything came out reasonably quick and tasted good.

The movie theater was clean, and the seats have reclining chairs and individual tables. They even have heated seats! While Im here during the summer, appreciate it during the winter months.”

“Visited for Texas Balloon Festival. It was an unique experience and would love to visit again. Kindly keep in mind that you need to step in and step out 3hrs timeframe along with actual event as there's a huge rush while accessing the area. Wish they fix the parking and accessibility issues. Physically challenged parking was very hard to find during the event as well and saw many elderly people walking around 1.2Miles.

The space within the arena is wide enough for large audience. Have nice time here”

“We spent almost exactly 3 months at this Staybridge on because of construction/repair to our home.

I can honestly say, I've never had a better long term experience at a hotel than this one. The women and men that work here are incredible, helpful, and keep the place running like a well oiled machine.

The room was pleasant (we chose an accessible room for my mother) and aside from the smoke alarm going off during my quesadilla escapades all the time, it was a great place to lay your head for many months.

The jacuzzi spa was really our only contention as it always (even after asking and seeing them attend to it), seemed to have that brown cloud of fungus floating in the bottom. A lot of people use it, so I think it's one appliance at the hotel that needs daily attention. We stopped using it after awhile because of that.

The pool was lovely, especially when heated to comfortable not too hot temps. I will always enjoy having the pool to myself to de-stress.

I'm vegan so I don't have much to offer about the buffet, only to say the staff was helpful, and awesome. It was always clean, and well kept. I did enjoy having access to veggies and the spring rolls during the happy hours. The only consideration I'd mention is a flip book of ingredients for those with sensitivities. I didn't want to bother the busy staff every time I wanted to know the ingredients to something. I imagine I'm not the first to stay there with dietary restrictions or allergies.

Also, having a QR code to a video link for the general style of stove top that was included with our room would make it ultra nice because I had to chase down a video on how to turn on that thing!

I'm really going to miss those smiling faces and that free coffee every morning.

One last thing. On one walk around the hotel I noticed that almost every truck or van parks backwards and tailgates over the curb which is an accessibility issue. It would be great, since this location services ATMOS training, to either tell them to tell their students to avoid this or have you ask them to make sure they're not blocking the side walk.

“Zander’s House catered my wedding, and the food was easily one of the biggest highlights of the night. If there's one thing my guests still rave about, it's how delicious everything was! We were able to do a tasting beforehand, and my in-laws were absolutely wowed by the quality and flavor, which made us feel confident in our choices.

Kirk, the owner, is a very experienced vendor, which made the whole catering process smooth and low-stress. He catered at my venue (the 411) before, so I didn’t have to give much direction—he knew exactly what to do, and the catering piece of my wedding felt like a self-running process. He’s direct, upfront in his communication, and was quick to adjust my invoice when I wanted to minimize rentals or change my menu, which I appreciated a lot.

When you choose Zander's house, you're choosing a specialty experience for your guests: quality vietnamese food and the fact that it is brought out in multiple, seemingly endless courses, which is why I started the process of booking Kirk before I even nailed down my venue! Throughout my family (who have been catering Zander's House for decades), Kirk has the reputation of being honest, efficient, and delivers excellent food—at the end of the day, that’s what mattered most to me!

“We were here for a hockey tournament. It has two rinks, and an eating area in between the rinks. I was worried about getting cold in the sitting area, but I never did.”

“The staff at Kid Mania are amazing. They are quick to respond to guests’ needs, and they show willingness to go above and beyond. In one visit, I needed a pen to write on a birthday card, and ice when someone’s child bumped their head. It sounds simple, but at other places like Main Event and Celebration Station, in my experience, the staff act confused and put-out when approached. Not the folks at Kid Mania - they came through for me without hesitation. Just people helping people. I really appreciated that. They looked me in the eye and treated me with respect and kindness. It made all the difference to my family.”

Rooms: Room was big and spacious. Bathroom was very clean. Enough ports and plugin points to charge laptops and other devices. Wardrobe to keep clothes.

Nearby activities: Kroger and Tom Thumb. Multiple restaurants. Bank of America outlet. Salons.

Safety: Very safe. Police Patrolling almost everyday.

Walkability: Very walkable. Everything nearby. One or two blocks away. On the same or opposite side of the road.

Food & drinks: Ample options. All type - Indian, Chinese, Japanese, wraps and burgers, McDonald’s, Subway, Mexican, and many more.

Noteworthy details: Very safe and secure. Nicely maintained property. Courteous staffs. Everything at a walking distance.”

“Room had strong febreze smell for first two nights. Aside from that room's been great stuff very friendly. Note that there is a Starbucks In the lobby. Does not come with a breakfast and there's not much nearby walking distance. Short drive away there are tons of restaurants and shops.”

“Room is functional. Hot water quicker than many other hotels. No Breakfast. Just a hop away from George W Bush Turnpike. Bed is comfortable & room is bug-free. Asked for high floor & quiet room - staff quickly accommodated. A/C works very well. TV is nice size, & easy to add my roku device. Great value for the price.”
