“I stopped in for a garage door spring. They had what I needed. The salesperson was extremely helpful. He made sure I knew exactly what to do and added some helpful hints. I can repair most anything, so I decided to give it a try. Their YouTube video was spot on. It calls to be extremely careful, due to the winding of the spring. They made the replacement very easy. I hope I do not need them again, but will make the 40 mile drive if I need to. Thanks P4GD!!”
“We went to Court hardware, and we received wonderful and genuine customer service. I believe anyone went to Home depot and Lowes. I went to these hardware stores and yet I never receive truly good and kind customer service from hardware store. Our window house was broken. We had option, either we call handyman or went to stores above and tried our chances with doubts. We passed by court hardware and sure enough, Court hardware provided the glass. Bill, a kind and best employee, guided us and helped for how to do it yourself at home without doubt. We had a brand new window with Bill instruction. Thank you Bill ! We definitely add Court Hardware as our to go before Home depot and Lowes.”

“Harbor Freight is taking over the tool industry. I work, as a technician, in a professional setting. For specialty tools that need to be calibrated, I stay with the tried and true. For tools I will not use often, I go to Harbor Freight. Great selection and a better value. I have a packout that I use that cost me several hundred dollars. A coworker has the Brauer from Harbor Freight that he paid half the price for. They both carry the same tools.”
“Our local Ace Hardware store is great. Far better than a close Lowe’s & Home Depot stores. Staff is great & they walk around the store stopping to ask all shoppers if they can help or assist them. This NEVER happens in Lowe’s or Home Depot. Prices meet or better than the other local stores. Due to Ace’s overall physical building size, Ace doesn’t have the lumber, appliance & other sections but for most everyday hardware needs they have what you maybe needing or looking for!! Love my local Ace store.”
“Everyone is always very friendly -not hovering but always willing to be there to help you. The store is very nice and organized with plenty of tools, hardware, outdoor cooking supies, gardening tools/supplies amd a wide variety of dirt and pesticides (natural products as well). I love their selection of plants - it is not a wide variety but yoi can tell they take good care of them and that's what matters!”
“I called ahead to ask about a part for my dryer not only did the man instantly know the part I was talking about and it's part number but he said they had it in stock when I arrived the man at the counter recognized my voice from our phone call and had the part waiting for me at the front I will never buy appliance parts from any other store except this one, five stars. “It says “Hardware” in the name but this store is so much more than that!!! They had such great fine china (like Herend!)and crystal (Lalique). I love Le Creuset cookware and found a bunch of different colors here that I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s a big store too, which you can’t tell from outside! Lots of unique clothes, accessories and home decor. Would be an excellent place to find a gift for someone. Prices are very fair. Definitely plan to come back!”

“I bought a nice self propelling battery mower at a different location of Home Depot. Took it out of the box, read the instructions, charged and installed two batteries, started it to hear an immediate tukking noise, shut it off, turned it on it's side and saw where the blade was impacting the deck sidewall. Boxed it back up and took it back to the store i bought it at. They told me their computer system was down nationwide and they couldn't do any returns or exchanges. Waited more than a few hours and tried to call both of the closest stores to me to see if their network was back up. No luck. Went to the Hillcroft store, which is a little further away, because my computer showed they had more of this model in stock. The assistant manager whose name was Vini was a great help, the network was still down but since the product i wanted to exchange was a store brand, he could exchange it, he even helped me look at the new one to make sure the mower blade spun freely. We will be back to this location.”
“Needed Full AC replacement Saturday afternoon last September. The AC contractor said he could get a new system installed next day on a Sunday. I asked Contractor how he was able to obtain the Unit so quickly. Contractor said that Nolan Hewitt with Johnstone Supply worked with him to make sure he got it the very next morning. I have never experienced this type of service in my 50 years of owning several homes that needed AC parts or units. I highly recommend anyone needing AC parts or full replacements to use Johnstone Supply. Thanks to everyone who made this happen.”
“The store was very clean and the staff was helpful. It's really good to come here and check it out every once in awhile to see the new items that they carry. I do think that if you come here you know you're not going to get the absolute best quality in some of the items. But some of the items here are for one or two time use only because they're more specialty use. What I do like about them is that they do carry certain things that you cannot find at the big box stores and I do like their sales and once in a while they'll have a really really good deal on certain items.”
