“My first recommendation is to tell you to read all the previous reviews. I was planning to sit down and write an outstanding review about River Oaks Courts in Medina Texas, so I thought before I did, I would see what previous guests had to say. Will looks like everyone beat me to it. We stayed six nights and to be honest we hated to check out. What a great place. It’s a few short miles from so many of the larger Hill Country destinations. If you and your family want to experience real Texas Hill Country living, I highly recommend River Oaks Courts. The property is clean, well maintained and remarkable in a real Texas Hill Country way. The staff, and I mean everyone are the best, they go out of their way to make you comfortable. The property is right next to the tree lined Medina River. Thers a large well-maintained garden with walking paths and seating. I’ve never seen a flock of hummingbirds until my stay there. I enjoyed sitting on the patio of my cabin, enjoying coffee while looking at miles of pure Texas Hill Country. Their Social Club offered live music and wonderful food and drink. Also, a great coffee shop called the Art House Café. There are only eleven units so no big crowds, no noise, a great place to relax, but close to all the best spots the Hill Country has to offer.”

“Love stopping here. all the things you need plus the things you didn’t know you wanted :) very friendly and brings back memories of what stores used to be. Especially happy to get my Dr Pepper in a glass bottle fix there as well. ?”

“This place is absolutely beautiful and has great history behind it!From the gorgeous kitchen, the huge back yard all the way down to the cute hidden bathroom we love it here. We will definitely be coming back for future holidays and events but most importantly for our wedding anniversary!Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to come together in this wonderful hotel and celebrate with the ones we hold dearest to our hearts.-The Reyes Family”

“The hotel is in a great spot and convenient to the major hi-way. The only issue we had was that the first room we were assigned had not been cleaned properly. The beds were made but the floor had not been vacuumed. The bathroom had not been wiped down and the toilet was dirty. We reported it to the front desk and were quickly assigned a clean room. I’m sure it was an oversight by the cleaning staff and the issue was quickly resolved. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive.”

“It was good. Stayed there about a month ago. Door to the balcony didn't open. They fixed it a day later but there were wasp everywhere so we didn't use the balcony. Toilet water wasn't on when I got there. Had to turn it on myself. Tv remote stopped working the 2nd day. Never got fixed. I was there 3 days. Anyway, I might go back. Not sure. They only gave me a $20 discount for 1 day. I thought i deserved more than that since so many things went wrong. Only good thing about that place was the spa and the location. I really dont recommend this place. It kinda sucked.”

“Spent one night here while traveling between San Antonio and Big Bend NP, a bit of minor confusion at check in as we booked through their website, but they quickly figured it out. The rooms are set back from the busy road so it was quieter than expected. You can tell the owners have done plenty of upgrades though could still use some small improvements, but we were more than satisfied with our stay and can definitely recommend.”
