“The vet who operates this office is beyond amazing and kind. She has taken care of all four of my animals. We recently had to make the decision to let our 16 year old dog go to doggy heaven. She was patient and kind throughout the whole process. She spent about an hour just talking with us as we grappled with making the difficult decision. She truly is a rare human. She is not the type to suggest procedures or treatments that are unnecessary in order to make money. She is constantly advocating for both fur baby and parents. I have never met a vet with so much open passion for her job and those she serves. If you view your animals like a family member and not just a pet then I recommend taking them to this location. I went through several vet offices before finding this one and I'm grateful to have found it.”

“Perky Paws is absolutely amazing. I have been taking my fur babies there since she was 6 months old she is now 11 yrs old. They have walked me through all stages of her life since she is my first fur baby and didn’t know what to expect as a first time pet owner. I now have 3 pups under their care. “We took our dog in today to get him all fixed up. He has been in pain for a few weeks and was a little scared but the people here were AMAZING with him! I'm so grateful the staff is so well trained in dealing with big strong dogs because I couldn't hold him still by myself. They treated him with such care and love and really informed me about what his issues were. After the visit and all the meds he got we were expecting a large bill, but this is by far the most affordable place I have ever been!”

“I’ve been going to Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital since Dr Reno took over the practice about 10 years ago. Dr Reno has cared for our English and French Bulldogs and given them outstanding care. Our little Frenchie has an on-going medical issue which has been very challenging to diagnose, manage and care for but Dr Reno has been tireless in her pursuit to help her and to offer treatment options. Dr Reno is very knowledgeable, spends as much time as you’d like explaining what’s going on with your pet and truly cares for your pet. Het office staff is friendly and helpful, particularly Rachel. I can not recommend her more. Five stars!”
