“5 stars for sure—JCPenney at East Town Mall has turned into my one-stop shop whenever I’m back in Texas. The store is laid out super clearly, with big sections for menswear, womenswear, kids, and home, so it’s easy to move from grabbing basics to hunting for statement pieces without feeling lost. Racks are full but not overcrowded, and sizes are actually in stock, which already puts it ahead of a lot of other department stores.What really stands out is the selection and prices: graphic tees, jeans, and hoodies for everyday wear; dress shirts, slacks, and blazers when I need to clean up; plus tons of shoes, socks, and underwear bundles that make re‑stocking a whole wardrobe in one run doable. Their home section has sheets, towels, small appliances, and décor that hit that “nice but still affordable” lane, and the clearance racks and regular sales mean you can walk out with bags of clothes without wrecking your budget. Staff have been friendly and patient with returns or coupons, and checkout moves quickly even when it’s busy. Solid department store, great value—definitely my go‑to JCPenney in the area.”
“Really sweet blonde hair young man (Caucasian) helped us out as an African American family on Saturday May 24th around 12-2 p.m. He was awesome and very humble. He deserves to be promoted. He has the perfect character and personality for a management position. I say this, because I was a manager for years at 3 different stores back in my day. Also there was another Hispanic young guy who was also very sweet. Very pleased with the customer service and they went over and beyond for us. We bought 1 pair in store and ordered another pair online because they were out of sizes in store on one shoe we wanted

“I wanted to give my opinion on this location. I believe there were only 2 employees working - but those 2 employees are worth their weight in gold. Absolutely great customer service. I am used to other stores where you are not greeted or helped at all. They have their system worked out like a military operation; it was just so smooth. Really commendable. I did not end up purchasing anything but honestly I will remember the treatment I got here and will return.”

“I was willing to leave a 1☆ based off my experience today with an employee until i spoke with a manager (Micah) whom I have had the pleasure of seeing and helping me when she was in the online order dept..she has always been nice e and informative. So, when she told me who she was I knew that my voice wouldn't go unheard.
I am not trying to have anyone loose their jobs I just think coaching and customer perception should be at the forefront with this employee..
It was a very bad experience considering I work in customer service and has been a manager for over 25 yrs I know what should be expected..we should always give benefits for any product we introduce to our customer and when someone say no it means just that..it comes off as being aggressive and "I need to meet my goal'...
I gave a five ☆ because I always find good deals and the younglady African American)that's in backstage is alwayz nice and smiling

She was so helpful in helping me pick out an outfit for an important picture on Sunday.
She took time off her other duties to come assist me after she saw that the other sales associate that helps with measuring customers was busy helping another customer.
She saw that I was just standing there looking helpless (Lol) and came to my aid. She was a Blessing and an obvious asset to K&G.

“I love this store coz they have amazing outfits at low price. I went to one of its outlet and purchased clothes but the size does not fit me. I went to its nearby store by my area i.e. towneast mall for mesquite to exchange it. However, I was surprised with the difference in price and that I may not be able to exchange it. One of employee “Vanilla” was v.helpful to me. She was extremely cooperative she said if the pattern is same you can exchange it even if there is difference in price. She helped me alot and also told me she gonna take care of the exchange for me. Highly cooperative and enthusiastic employee I have every seen that to on busy days like sunday.
